    yea sue it's a bit awkward when not level but it looks great. spacious and practical. i wish they had a through hole for a true ridgeline however. i could picture myself swinging in my hammock and feel the sweet heat on my back from the stove. i hope you enjoy your upcoming trips!

    Great video thank you. I just purchased this tent and if you set up a heavier ridge line with pursik's it will set up easier. Sticks or trekking poles in the four corners shape it out well for better wind resistance. I think you will enjoy all the comfort. Hope to see your next video.

      That is how I string up all of my tarps! Ridge line with prusik anchors is the first thing that goes up! This looks like a heavier tarp than all my others though. Can’t wait to hang this up when it comes in the mail!

    Great overview! I knew it wasn't going back into the sack! Going to check out the follow-up videos now. Thank you for sharing this.

    the problem is, campsites usually don't have trees 12 to 15 feet apart.
    It pretty hard to set up when the only trees are all 20 to 30 feet apart,
    or you have to go into the bushes.

      Agreed, that can be a pain. I have set this one up in a span that was around 20 - 25 ft, you just have to have the correct cordage but it can be a challenge at time!

    I have this coming in the mail tomorrow!! I have looked at the few hot tent models made for hammocks and this one seemed to check all the boxes. I have heard other say the same thing about the stuff sack and someone even had said a 20L dry bag works well. Have to see myself. Great idea to set it up once before needing to use it. Looks good! Thanks for the video man! Jeff

    i have one coming tomorrow and i'm totally pumped to try it out! only modification i know i'll be making so far is adding another webbing loop to the top center so i can attach and tension it to a single ridge line with prusics and carabiners and prevent middle sag. I have a feeling this tent/tarp will be appearing on my channel very soon!

    Another great video. Would love to see the setups in a more in-depth manner. Time elapse in the initial is cool, but maybe getting specific footage of the step by step technique. Keep up the good work man!

    Looks like you could easily have two cots, gear and hot stove and still have room. Is that the case?

    • @theH2experience
      @theH2experience  5 месяцев назад

      Yes you could, if you have higher cots then for sure as you have plenty of storage underneath.

      @@theH2experience looking to go hot tent camping with a friend. Can't decide between the rocdomus or the tegimen. Want to make sure we have room for two cots and gear as well as the stove. Don't want to be crowded.

    • @theH2experience
      @theH2experience  5 месяцев назад +1

      @@richarddukeshire take a look at this one I did as well, I have 2 cots in there, it may give you a better Idea as to the room (It was a snow test but you kind of get the idea of room from a couple shots in the video). If you sit on the cots and store gear under them I think you could be okay. ruclips.net/video/QQ4h0eWGRYA/видео.html&ab_channel=TheH%C2%B2Experience
