Absolutely unreal! I want to thank everyone for all the recent support! I'm so happy to announce Disorder is available to stream on spotify and download directly on bandcamp!
    open.spotify.com/track/2KRmANLIeESFXaKpGDhsUE

It is a privilege to be able to make music and have a life that allows me expression and creativity. During the pandemic I had a lot more time and resources to make videos like this and it's really cool to see one be loved by so many. It would be incredible if we could bring that energy to streaming whether you share with a friend or add it to a playlist! Every little bit helps!
Currently I have been pouring all efforts into my project with Portia. There is an EP on the rise I have recorded and produced and several shows on the horizon! This Should be coming out before the end of the year with a physical release.
So much love! Thank you all again!

I’d say it sounds like joy division in the joy division era. That synth sounds close enough to the stringed bass and 6 string guitar.

But I think both of you are just looking to it from a different perspective :) Obviously it sounds like a Joy Division song (since it is a cover of a Joy Division song), but I do get the New Order associations (Moog synth, programmed drum patterns..).

You guys should be grateful that Garrett made an attempt to do vocals anyways. Covers are not always easy to sing, especially if your voice is much different from the original singer's. Even if his singing wasn't perfect, Garrett isn't Ian Curtis, and he did what he could to fit the energy of the song while still putting his own spin on it. We can't expect everything to be perfect.

@@garrettdebell Whatever you sold in exchange - it was definitely worth it!....one of the few synths I still really crave tbh. Been using Ableton Live, Vstplugins & an iPad Air3 in conjunction with analogue synths. 64-bit apps have improved exponentially - e.g. Drambo is incredible....imo wavetables are the way forward - offering seamless import between Hw & Sw. years ago, I played boards for an indie band, hence have many Creation Records contacts, we played only two covers ever live - in essence once you've ascribed your own take of a track, it just becomes a vehicle to express your individual sound.

it's an awesome cover, the sounds and the voice fit perfectly. Reproducing JD bass with a keyboard is not easy and you did it great, Im very impressed. I have the same feeling as I had at 12 years old when I discovered the band
