What about a business license? LLC cost? Business Cards? The very first step should be getting legal. There is a city in my county, polk county fl called lake wales where you can go to jail if you get caught detailing a damn car without the proper license. Id think license and llc ein should be the first two things money needs to be spent on. Great video tho im sure it has helped a lot of people!!
Good or bad idea to start a one-man mobile rinseless wash business where I offer Exterior or Interior for $70 or both for $100? This is a basic maintenance clean. Not a detail.
Could you do a $3500 one but it has to include getting a vehicle? Find a cheap vehicle and see what you can do to maximize equipment and why vehicle you can find that would work well
Great video bro honestly I just started my own detail business and I love every part of it I love the reaction of the clients when they see how clean their car is after the whole process is done thanks for showing us the beginning of the road not a lot of pro detailers do stuffs like this god bless you bro and thanks again for all the tips
you wouldn't need a compressor to connect those. Those you would just use the clients home outlets. Youll need an outdoor-rated extension cord. The longer, the better, the safer.
Great vid Oscar! Just a heads up to everyone, some of the products here can give u a % off it’s price, so double check and make sure to click the box for a few extra savings!
Can u do a video on legal stuff like permits and license. I have everything for my business but I want it legal before I start. How should I go about it
Go to irs.gov and get your business ein # with that # get your fictitious business name with your city after that use that information to open a business bank account to put all your income into and track it with quick books self employed
Bro I got everything for detailing business can you help us out with advertising part I mean I got my instagrams page my Facebook page and business card I just don’t see a lot of business comes from that Thanks a lot for all those videos send message when you have time thank you again
Great video.. $530 not bad and u got everything you need. 1 quick question how would u manage water supply for washes if customer doesnt have a direct water supply. Thanks In advance
for anyone watching this: i’m starting my business as well. if you have a harbor freight near you, they have great stuff as well! they also have a portland pressure washer there that’s about $90. the one thing i will say if don’t worry about buying things that will last 1+ years. buy things to start off and upgrade when you can afford it. you can easily get good results using a water hose with a garden nozzle. pressure washer is a luxury, not a need!!
Wow that price is so awesome , your videos are very helpful I want to have my own business we’re I’m independent and I’m my own boss not just a detailer, I’m looking to make side money NYC things have gone up due the Covid I’m barely making ends meet 😮
@@DetailGroove true. I like your videos a lot. I started my own company last year after having worked for others for years. Best choice and I did it very similar to what you did in this video.
@@DetailGroove you ever run in trouble with retractable hose not getting enough water to the pressure washer though? Ive been using those flexilla ones but I wanted to get the retractable to save space
Nice video! Questions the 4:1 ratio in the apc would be for exterior I assume right? If so can a apc like Koch chemie greenstar fade black Pilar’s around the doors and the trim towards the bottom of the car?
I want to start my mobile detailing business but I have a question what if they don’t have a port to plug in or a water hose for you to use? or how do I go about this?
What budget should I work with next?
1000$
1,000
3000
$13,000 ❤

That sunjoe pressure washer for $129 is a steal. Had it for 3 years works flawlessly with foam cannons.
Sweet!
Thank you for this video Oscar. Just a question. Where should I connect the pressure washer and the vacuum with no compressor?
you wouldn't need a compressor to connect those. Those you would just use the clients home outlets. Youll need an outdoor-rated extension cord. The longer, the better, the safer.
I ordered from Aliexpress detailing accessories for cheap and actually they are not bad at all.

How much would you charge for the services you could provide with these tools? A range of course
$25 to $100 depending on a variety of factors
C.G. VRP u can dilute and make it into a spray. So that could have been a better pick for wheel dressing. Great video
Yep! With more time, you can def find better options.

Love this! Thanks bro! Just bought my truck and im excited to get started
you can also purchase 3d products some of them offer refill option where you take the bottle and pay half to refill it
Great video
what rates would you normally charge for different services?
Great stuff here. Do you thinks that business in detail will be lucrative during recession?
Are you in LA area?
Texas haha
What you said is so true, looking back its mind boggling
I think a garden hose would help here too, just cause some customer have some kink hoses.
Good one! I bought a retractable one from Target for $25 and it lasted me for years lol

@@carlom9710 retractable has a smaller hole so more water pressure will go into pressure washer if you have a water pump.
Óscar putting work💪
Trying 💪🏽
Can you do a video on chemicals. Which to use and which not to use. Best and worse ones. And do a budget on them. I’m currently using chemical guys.
is the chemical guys detailing kit a solid kit to get?

no vacuum? lol
I included the vacuum at 18:12. $80
*boom*
I want to start my mobile detailing business but I have a question what if they don’t have a port to plug in or a water hose for you to use? or how do I go about this?
99.9 percent of house had water and electric
Also, just advertise that you need a water hook up. I've seen plenty of detailers who put that somewhere on their website or business advertising
