I just bought a surf master pi dual field 7-20-15 . It looks nothing like the detector you are using which is a Surf Master PI Pro. Even though all three videos say they are instruction for SM DF you say nothing about the DF or what the DF does in any of the videos. It makes Whites look cheap. What gives?
I have a whit's Amphibian 2,, water ,,,, land ,,, I turn it on low sensitivity and it just beeps constant , steady beeeeeep ,, any help as how to fix it would be great ,,,
battery pack fits one way only but if you inadvertantly try and connect the other way .. you'll fry the unit .. this in the blink of an eye .. just touch the wrong terminals together and it's a toasted western sandwich .. the connectors don't have to seat .. just touch them (together) and it's fried toast! Unless there is polarity protection - which there probably is .. but don't count on it. Remain polarity-vigilant at all times.

You need to make the components water proof. Not put them all in a semi water proof box....
