the only issue for me is that it's not possible to spawn both gross cat and macho leg, as macho is upgraded (true) form of gross, so there's only 1 slot in the line up so you can't choose both. everything else is just superb quality
Battle cats is pretty underrated in my eyes so I always get excited whenever I see a fan-made animation of it! Considering how difficult it is to make 3d models you did an amazing job! How long did it take to do this?
Except for their feet not moving the grass as they walked, the lighting was perfect and they looked they belonged there. The cats didn't stand out from the rest of the scenery, and almost had me guessing everything but the boy was green screened in. Again, if it wasn't for the fact the grass wasn't reacting like it was being stepped on, the cats looked like they could have been physical models set up. This was really good.
Yeah you're absolutely right. Although grass interaction is quite difficult for live action shots, especially when you have so many characters. It's actually a lot easier when the whole thing is cg.
@@ShutterAuthority you tracked the footage right? Then you can just take the grass as image texture and put some hair particles, place it under the feet of the cats and wollah, looks like they're walking on grass. compositing with colors and alpha can make it look perfect :)
i find it funny that a bunch of enemies were sent out and a bunch of cats, but they were still on the tutorial, also macho legs and gross in the same loadout lol
