This is a sync of most available footage of this concert back in 1983. Most of these are accurate but some are guessed. I used audio from Journey's concert in Uniondale on May 8th, 1983 as well as Tacoma from August 19th, 1983 for the pyro sounds.
This was filmed by NFL Films at the Casper Events Center in Casper, Wyoming.

Steve Perry needs to get the recognition as the greatest singer of all time!!!! Freddie Mercury gets idol status. Don't get me wrong, Freddie is good in his own way. But Steve Perry takes it to another level.

So, more powerful singers in terms of vocal virtuosity, muscular control and vocal consistency like Ronnie James Dio and lyrical singers like Franco Corelli and Del Monaco, these should be recognized as the best singers of all time, not to mention that they influenced many of the best singers in the world in recent decades. Steve is one of the best rock singers but he is far from being a virtuoso singer and even more so from becoming the best singer, especially because his voice at its peak didn't last more than 10 years and he couldn't even maintain consistency and clarity his sound from 85.

@@LuzAzul77-f4w Within my understanding of vocal physiology and anatomy, I am very clear in my words, and mainly due to what I studied regarding Steve's vocal structure, he, like Ian Guillan and many other singers, are extremely fantastic and very talented, but they are being constantly overestimated in terms of their vocal capacity, both in terms of vocal consistency and sustainability, where in my opinion Steve was unable to maintain his voice for more than 10 years at its peak, as well as in terms of muscular physiology, technical proficiency, vocal control and virtuosity in general; These singers could not be compared to virtuoso singers with a muscular structure and a much more solid command of the vocal mechanism like singers with powerful and developed voices such as Ronnie James Dio, Jussi Bijörling, Caruso and Del Monaco for example; I just argued based on my knowledge and because I completely disagree with the comment above and I'm sure any professional singing expert I know would also refute it.

Yes and Steve Perry wrote all the songs and played all the instruments on every single Journey album, even on ones which he wasn't even the singer.
