Hey. Is there a possibility that you accept crypto as a donation? I live in Cuba so I don’t have access to credit cards and using any payment method is nearly impossible but I still want to support you. Thanks for your awesome work.

Reaper and its community blows my mind. Yes pay for you reaper license (like i did) and yes support Tukan but you can be up in running for nothing.... NOTHING!!!! all thanks to the work of others. Thanks Adam also for sharing it! I did your reaper course and before that the free beginners tutorials on this channel what a help it was to get me started. Recording and mixing my own music now going on 2yrs and have almost 20 songs posted to my soundcloud and having loads of fun doing it. Thanks
@@MiniShowProductions RUclips it seems doesn't like me posting a link to my sound cloud, it keeps deleting my comment?? If you look up the same username as I have here on RUclips, on sound cloud you should find me
This has been an amazing eye-opener for me. Only just getting into Reaper, but watching this MASTERCLASS has been nothing short of freaking mindblowing! Your skill and knowledge of all the FX, and understanding where each has its place, and knowing exactly how you want something to sound. What an engineer, let alone musician. It's opened my eyes to the capabilities, and the skill of mixing. Totally gobsmacked over how many tracks you've layered to get such an epic sound. Brilliant stuff, you have my admiration Adam, thanks for sharing the knowledge. Best hour I've spent in a very long time. I came for a free plugin or two and got far more, plus an intro to an amazing developer, solid gold John.
I have just setup my template with Sum Thing as it was a Harrison Bus or an Analog Console and it sounds HUGE AMAZING !!!!!!! Just made myself Patreon of this man. You are more than brilliant man. Your work is wonderfull. You took Reaper world by surprise :)
You’ll have to pry my FabFilter plugs out of my cold dead hands, but these are a fantastic alternative - especially if I’m working remotely on my laptop. The best plugins are the ones you know how to use, but these are stunning. Thanks for the real world demo.
tnx Adam and the developer how timely, as one on a budget, these are a wonderful treat. Only issue I had installing them was Reapack that somehow disappeared from my extensions pulldown (its happened more than once). Love the exotic bird logo. my neighbour has one, the toucan managed to survive our 7 day power outage in January where the temperatures were below 0 celsius. Just sayin....
Impressive, in-depth demo. And a great tune by you as well! Tucan plugins are definitely impressive and most importantly *musical*. Thanks to John for making them, Myk for first shining the light on these and thanks again for this video. I think I picked the right DAW. 😁
I am going to buy Reaper as I'm enjoying my trial with it. I am not impressed with the emulations within these plugins though, LA1 for example. They sound far too transparent sounding for that. But I will have to have another go and judge on their use and not on how good they emulate... will also have to give more of them a try. For free we can't complain.
Hi Adam, thx for this lovely demo. Really nice that they are free, but the million dollar question of course is: are they any good? Can you say something about the quality for mixing? Can it replace for your payed plugins? Keep up the good work!
That remains to be seen, I’ll still be using the plugins I was always using for now since I know them so well, but these are a clear step up from reaper’s stock plugins for sure
Hi Adam, I love the crunch tone, can you share how you got that extremely tight sound/tone please? Did you use your Peavey? I am trying to achieve a similar sound using the AxeFx3? Is it doable in your opinion? Maybe you can point me to a video if you discussed this already. Thank you for the cool video.
Love the computer specs. Although not a professional like yourself, it gives me a rough guide as to what I should aim for. There "is" no such thing as too powerful a system. Ideally you want to be buying the highest spec you can afford and you just futureproofed yours for a few years is all. I upgrade my own system in bits and pieces, upgrading the motherboard when I really need to.
I'm a little late to the party and missed the stream but for being freebies these are great. That Lexicon 480 styled one sounds great on drums. Thanks for showing them off too!
Hi Adam, I posted a question while you were streaming about the Tukan plugins not showing up in my plugin list, I did every thing right when installing, but for my system PC windows 10, the plugins only showed up in the list after I did a reboot, so if anyone has similar issue ...try reboot.
I don't think that is the point of this. It's going to be all subjective anyway. The point is to get a good mix with built in plugins that are based off the same hardware.
for us "plug and play" folks, this was a challenge and now I'm installing over 8k scripts for some reason, some with non-English writing. That's fine, as long as it's something that I could use. I should have just chose to import just the Tukan related scripts. If I even know what I'm talking about. Halfway there on the import. :-)
Excuse my ignorance, 75 years old and still new at this. I have tried to download plugins without success. They say use the link. Then a whole load of everything comes up not relating to what is needed. I have very little hair on my head, so i can pull it out. 😅😅😅😅 Can you explain a more simple way. My next question is, if i download on my wifes Laptop, can i transfer to my PC via USB flashdrive. My PC is not online at all. Old model that cannot connect to wifi. I have reaper and it works well, but for obvious reasons cannot download. Can you help? Jimmy in JHB.
Thank you for this beautiful stream!
🥰
Good work john!
Nice work and sharing. Hopefully there are more coming to the community. Many thanks.

It looks like Tukan's plugin don't add any delay (PDC is zero). So we essentially could use them live as well during monitoring and recording. Nice!

A huge thankyou to the developer for these plugins. People like you are what make Reaper such a wonderful enviroment to be a part of.
Very nice ! A big thanks to the developer and also to you for demonstrating the plugins !
WOW! The Tukan N76 sounds better than my Waves CLA-76!
The PreAmp in this is beautifully clean. I put it on everything.
I was anxiously waiting for your impressions about this repository
thanks for the vid adam...these are great tools i joined johns patreon the day i tried these out.....again amazing reaper community !!

I am not a producer or engineer, just a guitar player, so much free stuff out there you can really get by easily with out spending a dime.
Really impressive!! 👏👏👏 John is doing a hell of a job. Thanks!!!
Thank you for all of your hard work here. You are a great human being.
Thanks a heep for pointing these out.
Theese Tukan plugins are BADASS! And this video too :)
Wow this is great!!!! gonna get these for my old laptop with reaper and linux!!!!!!!
Sounds great even without instruments. BRAVO!!
Wow super track & vocals 😳

Great song! Can we hear it somewhere completely?
Right now that’s all there is, I’m going to turn it into a full song at some point soon though :)
@@adamsteelproducer Any update on the song release?
Nope, just too busy atm
@@adamsteelproducer So evil. You stick a song in my head and I can't even listen to it! JK. It's really quite good so far. Keep it up.
thanks a lot! Fantastic experiment
That song is Devin Townsend-levels of epic.
If you did a whole album of songs I'd buy it in a second.

Thanks- I just searched and it was the victory VX Super Kraken 100
Thank you Adam for all of the videos that you do to help us! What is the Reaper theme you're using? It looks very nice!
Cheers! I use the default Reaper 6 theme, just coloring the tracks as needed to help separate them out
Vocals were great on your short sample.

Nice plugins, Adam. Thanks. I'm wondering how you could click and toggle fx bypass. I couldn't figure out in the action list yet. Thanks.

I mean you are supposed to reboot after installing most things most definitely plugins
You should leave old plug-in inserted and then just bypass it so you can a and b the difference and we could hear it
I don't think that is the point of this. It's going to be all subjective anyway. The point is to get a good mix with built in plugins that are based off the same hardware.
Were are the downloads? Links do not take you to download?
As good as or better than paid equivalents . you have my monthly donation sir
They aren’t that good just stop it, they’re ok at best
@@Gang-25j um ..no I won't stop it..Guess you'll have to deal with it
how do you pull up 2 or 3 plugin windows at one time on your screen thanks for the help
Just open them? Click on each effect in the mix window
Did you sing and pitch correct all those vocal tracks or just sing once or twice and made copies with slight differences in melodyne?
They’re all individual takes, I sang and corrected 33 vocals! Took a couple of hours…
There are no download buttons😢

do you still use the VSX system?
I haven't tried all TUKAN plugins but the ones i have tried are not accurate to the original hardware.
No plugin is, so you have to buy hardware if you want that!
