- This little Zarges Box is basically my EDC Camping Kit.
It holds everything I need to make a fire, light, cook...or open a beer :)
Best part is, that it is attached to the outside of my van. so I don't need to worry about the smelly oil lamp or my lighter fluid spilling in my van.

Zarges actually makes boxes specifically for batteries. Maybe that is interesting for your project…
Oooh awesome!!! A tip with the paracord holding the lid up, put a cord adjuster( like on a ski jacket), then you can adjust the lid level for uneven terrain.

Great idea. The only thing I would do different would be to do a rounded bevel on the plywood where it meets the side of the case getting the plank closer to the wall.

Hej, ich mag die Umsetzung, alles griffbereit zu haben. Zur Feuerhand kann ich aber sagen, das gefärbtes Lampenöl / Duftöl über kurz oder lang den Docht der Feuerhand zusetzt und trotz nachregulieren der Docht keinen Brennstoff mehr nachführt. Die Farbpartikel setzen den Docht zu und er muss gereinigt oder ersetzt werden. Klares Petroleum oder Lampenöl ist die bessere Wahl. Viel Spass noch in Sverige :-)

That gives me some ideas for a camping gear box I want to add to the tongue of my camper. It's a homemade camper so the tongue is smaller than normal, so a standard tongue box won't fit on it...

Kleiner Tip: Als Lampenöl für die Feuerhand verwende ich das Petroleum der Firma Adler. Dieses ist praktisch fast Geruchsfrei und sehr ergibig. Damit ist man den lästigen Gestank des billigöls los. Und es ist in einer Metalldose verpackt! :-)

Wow what a nice Box! This reminds me of one of your other boxes with the cooking equipment and the foam cuttings with the 3D shaper router. Nice too and what happened to that Box?! Which Zarges did you use? Of course this depends on each preference, but looks like all the essentials fit in. At some point I thought the Lamp will spill once it is tilted! Any experience or ideas on how to do it different?! Keep on rockin’ and send out his creativity Boost to the world!

I would highly recommend you put some threadlock on those screws ... You don't want them to shake loose on the highway !
Gotta love Big Larry, I have one in each of my Peli cases for work as well as a couple of Lil Larry's as well. I would have added a holder for a spare wick as well, just in case! :0)

The stuff in that box would last until the first stop light where everything would be stolen, and probably the box too. Must be nice living somewhere where that's not an issue.
