Laura, maybe don't use them all in your workshop. If they are 80×60 footprint, you can use some as exchangeable mobile units in the back of your van, instead of the big drawer. Lets you choose what you need for the trip: fridge, coffee equipment and / or powertools kit and / or hand tools box. You get the idea. Perfect boxes for that, if they fit your Eurobox grid system. (Zarges Mitraset boxes are similar, but they don't have this incredible interior stuff. And still cost the same nowadays.)
These are amazing boxes, to be sure. In the coming years, you will recoup the purchase price in conversation value. How many James Bond stories can you invent in the future? A creative woman like you will never run out of stories.
I made a flippant guess of "a couple of grand" thinking they were just nice sturdy boxes, maybe with the kind of high quality drawers you see on the big workshop tool racks that you mention later on. Then I started second guessing that as you went through what was in them, because *wow* those are superb cases. But hey..I was right! For all the wrong reasons. I barely even have a workshop and I want a stack of those.
That was much cheaper than I expected, even if they came without the rear electrical inputs and the internal wiring just the slides for the drawers alone seemed nice and sturdy that along with a nice clean aluminium exterior would've made it worth it in my opinion. But besides the practical elements of good storage with fancy electrical wiring the story of its past use and how randomly you stumbled into it might just be the best part of it.
Great buy! so you can have lots of crazy build ideas for everyone to look forward to......and ponder which govt. was doing the espionage and on who? It's certainly brought out that big beaming smile of yours!

Just LOVE when you get excited and switch to German xD
I don’t mind cause I had German in school for 7 years! :)
It is incredible how happy someone can get, just by seeing your smile ❤️, Love the cases!
Truly a once in a lifetime find! Congratulations! Cannot wait to see how you repurpose these, it's going to be epic.
That's a huge and beautiful buy! Will make your shop extremely cooler. But be careful if any of those start to beep any day, just run! 😎
This stuff went to the right person! Just recently found this channel, and now I cannot get enough!
Inspirational! I am so envious! Great cases and an absolute bargain. And there's nobody who will make better use of them thank LK...! Cheers, JR
Look at the Glee in Laura's face its contagious !
That is literally the most impressive on-line "find" I think I ever saw ! AWESEOME (I want one).
This is why I love RUclips, I’m sitting here watching the video thinking I don’t need them but I want them.
What an amazing find!!!
YOU are an amazing Maker! I love watching all the clever things you make! Sure dig the storage containers you made and retrofitted.
Great buy! so you can have lots of crazy build ideas for everyone to look forward to......and ponder which govt. was doing the espionage and on who? It's certainly brought out that big beaming smile of yours!
I can’t believe you got them for just 100 each! They are so cool, can’t wait to see what you do with them!
What a great video! Your enthusiasm is contagious.
By the way the Siemens boxes are 'smart relays' and essentially a programmable controller. Very useful things to have around
