These were a really kind gift from Treckmaster30 who knew that I likes ACE hardware locks. Thank you Treckmaster30 :-) you rock! ruclips.net/user/trekmaster30
I sometimes find these little locks quite hard as much because of the limited room as anything else. Think you did well with what looked like quite a deep hook. Ps, loved your enthusiasm at finding a spool pin. I’m not subbed to that many lock picking channels but those that I do all share that enthusiasm from their creators, so keep ‘em coming. Especially as I’m rapidly running through your back catalogue!
@@LockNoob I tried looking again but all I found was a nealy 10 year old post by Papa Gleb on keypicking.com about a brass Ace padlock that had Abus China stamped under the shackle. Not the smoking gun I was looking for.
Was expecting paracentric (euro style aka Yale style) keyway , but , saw "straight" one , typical for cheap chinese padlocks. (tho , this isn't probably cheap one , for sake of brand and manufacturing process) I think these can be raked easily. :) Anyways nice content and little fun ! :D Cheers ! 🍻🔓
The ACE brand was a surprise to me when I first started picking. I have taken one apart and they have some nice deep spools inside. No serrated pins in the one I took apart. I will edit this and include the video number where I took it apart. #522 ruclips.net/video/ARMIjzkFH1w/видео.html

@@luciferh1232 You tell us you got paid and left us all hanging as to how much you got 😉
£10, not my best but it's alright for me. 👌
@@luciferh1232 nice!!!
Thank you (∩_∩)
That was very nice of him to send those all the way from the U.S. He's a great guy and a really good picker.
Yes he is :-)
Cool picking on the larger lock. That 1st pin(spool) was really high up.
Great to watch you work it.
Thanks :-)

That hook is really shallow :-) thanks, I do enjoy a spool :-)
Lock Noob - congratulations, you spotted my totally intentional error 🤦🏻♂️
Very cool little padlocks, very kind from Treckmaster, thanks for showing ;o)))
Thanks for watching Tallan :-)
I love the Loto Locks with the 6 pin American cores! Serrated and spools in them! Great challenge on them too!!
Me too :-)
Glad you enjoyed them buddy. Since you told me you already had a couple of the larger ones I figured you would enjoy the smaller ones :)
I love them. Thank you for your generosity AND for keeping them in the original packaging - it’s nice to see :-)
Next time I'm in Ace I think I'll pick up one of the locks with the spool pin. Looks like a simple nad fun lock to play with.
They are :-)
Nice picking!
Nice to see a spool in the second one.
Thanks :-)
Very nice sets of ace locks from TM my friend I have a 40mm and a50mm somewhere👍😊👍😊😎😎😎

I like ACE too. Yeah, great value and good pin's in them. I got a few but want more. Lol. 🍺😎
Oh yes, we always want more locks :-)
Thanks for sharing good show as usual .
Thanks :-)
Fun pick enjoy watching!
Thanks :-)
Serrated pins is what I find difficult to pick past. As opposed to standard pins and spools.
Yes, they can be challenging :-)
I think Ace gets their larger locks from Abus. I did a quick Google search but couldn't find the reference where I saw it before.
Interesting and I could believe that. I’d love a reference if you ever find it :-)

Lol :-j
Thank you Lock Noob
Thanks :-)
So pushing a spool pin drops the other pins? I have some research to do,early days for me.
Yes, sometimes, especially with well made locks (or poor tension controll as you see here) :-)
Cool locks my friend 😄
They are :-)
Consuming this channels content rapidly! Managed to rake and pick a Euro cylinder so far, but not consistently.....beginners luck!?
UncleDeadly75 consistency come in time, just keep up the practice and have fun :-)

Another nice vid. Was wondering when you were doing to do the giveaway

They look to be shimable. Have you tried that?
If you had a small enough shim, it would definitely work.
@@LockNoob Sorry, my shim's not that small. :)
