  • Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody is plugging a virtual job fair for officers around the country. She hopes they'll be enticed by a political environment where leaders routinely say they "back the blue."

Women don't belong being law enforcement officers. That's a MAN'S job. The position requires Men who are strong, and physically fit to best handle all the situations that arise with the criminals to be dealt with. Be a real Woman, take care of your husband and children, your home, etc. They should be your priority. I'm just expressing my opinion here.

That's just your opinion which like a*sholes, everyone has one. I know women in law enforcement and in military that can do their job and even better than the other men in their field. This is 2023 woman! Where have you been? Under a rock? Woman are just as obviously for and strong too. Maybe your not.. But everybody isn't you. And I have the utmost respect for all women in law enforcement and the military and anywhere else where you don't think women should work.. That is a "man's job"😂😂. Be a real woman? What's your definition of a real woman? Not all women are willing to sit home and do nothing all day.. Besides take care of the home and kids. This isn't the 50's/60's era. Again, 2023.. approaching 2024.

People,,, dont buy into this lie.
The State of Florida has this bonus program of 1000s of $$$ for each police officer who transfers to Florida.
What they're not telling you is; who's paying these extremely huge bonuses ?
Do you people really think the Chief of Police or Governor or The City Mayor is paying these huge bonuses outbof their own personal pockets ?
Nooooo ! We The Tax Payers, we're the ones paying all those huge bonuses.
Just this one lady is getting is getting all those bonuses plus an additional $25000 toward her new home.
People, don't buy into that lie.

I feel that the police that have left and been fired, has started a panic for the police that know they have done wrong.
And they definitely did not want to get caught.
But there’s alot of good police out there that are doing the right thing for the community,
You have to understand that there has been officers that have been doing unlawful acts to the public for over 20 years and that is public knowledge.
So doing the right thing and keeping the oath that they have took and the new training that has been implemented would definitely be a great start to gaining the trust and respect that the people so desperately need.and I salute 🫡 all those that really respect the oath and the constitution of our country

Get rid of the college requirement and alot more people would join.. Suffolk police in New York used to have that same requirement and when they were desperately needed they dropped the requirement. If Florida did that I can almost guarantee there will be more qualified applicants.

    • @juniorried7703
      @juniorried7703 Год назад +1

There’s no college requirement here but with a degree you do move up in ranks. The big problem is the pay and how they do the Bait and Switch also the long hours you’re required to work. If you’re going to join any agency make sure you pay for the academy yourself otherwise you’ll be stuck in a two year contract which means they own you for two years and can pretty much make you do whatever unless you pay them thousands of dollars for the academy they sent you to. I don’t think it’s even worth it anymore unless your sanity and happiness out weighs the benefits.

College Requirements are very important so we don’t get STUPID, MORON, DUMB officers that don’t understand LAWS and are NOT professional. Keep the HIGHER standard so we can get high quality officers in ours streets….

Young Men and Women, forget about about a career in law enforcement. Just look how police are being treated all over the country. Is that what you want to deal every day. There are so many better career options. Forget about the noble idea of serving your community. We all know that federal, state and local government don't care and frankly neither do a large portion of society. Spare yourselves a lot of stress and anxiety. Don't join the police force.

With any agency make sure not to take the sponsorship because they’ll own you for two years unless you pay back those thousands of dollars for the sponsorship. Pay for it yourself so if you’re being overworked you can say something about it or leave without any ties.
