It is also a lot of fun and they hit it very hard! I will go through all about how to fish crankbaits for smallmouth bass and give you all my crankbait fishing tips! These tips will also work from prespawn largemouth but this works exceptionally well for fishing for smallmouth bass! Crankbait fishing for smallmouth bass is an awesome way to find big schools of fish quickly and I even show you how to find smallmouth bass in this video so you know where to fish your crankbait! What about fishing on a creek 8-15/ft max depth… on a Shimano Nasci 2500 spinning reel on 7.1/ft Sellus Med/Fast spinning rod… can I fish these on that setup and what would be the optimum size/weight?

You most likely could but I prefer a bait caster I would at least go to the 200 size
