Vocally he could do it, but if what I've heard about the character is correct, he's not supposed to a very attractive guy. Tommy does not fit that description.

But since we're on this, hear me out - Tarja as Carlotta. Think about it. Carlotta isn't a super serious character and is overly dramatic. Tarja has a very fun-loving presence on stage and can also be kinda dramatic. And the timbre of her voice would work very well.
I'm thinking someone needs to start funding a Phantom movie reboot where the whole cast is European metal musicians lol

Knew someone who I would play this for whenever we cuddled. By the second or third time she started being the one to play it. But there grew to be such drama and it tore us apart in the end.

I really love how Kamelot includes different singers on some of their tracks, it really makes their music stand out. Charlotte's one of my favorite singers anyway, and hearing her & Tommy together on this is just a treat.

Very beautiful song full of melodies and harmony. Great musicians and a great singer. Great guest singer is Charlotte Wessels. These singers are among the best singers in the rock/metal scene. I love this balad :-).
All I can say is that i could listen to this song forever and beyond. Delain+Kamelot=

Sean Eggers i did, I have seen Delain live in Cleveland at the Agora with Sonata Arctica then nearly a year later co-headlining with Hammerfall at the Agora also, saw Kamelot there just after Karevick came on full time, I would love to hear Charlotte Wessels sing “Grey Skies” with Jorn Lande of Avantasia, he’s awesome and Charlotte has the voice of an angel, pure lush tone, that would be a deadly duet......whew that thought made me moist....😎

I don’t even remember how I bumped into this song in the beginning. Sometimes I sing it in my head and find it to listen to again.
I wonder if this song was used in any movie or if it has another music video. Every time I listen to this song, I imagine a kingdom where life is peaceful and slow, people do farming works, ride horse, etc. Suddenly one day, they are visited by unexpected guests from the sky. Then something dramatic happens (war, conflict) but later is over near the end of the song and everything goes back to normal again. Probably, it’s just life, something happens sometime but eventually, everything will be fine again.
It fits well for an anime or something like Final Fantasy.

This Song brings Tears to my Eyes everytime I hear it...jus because of its Arrangement...that is incredible...even the instrumental version...this song is pure Magic!!! and gets more monumental every verse... 3:13 is that moment that is maybe the best climax of a Song I ever heard in a Song and still it pushes itself more after this point
I never heard of Kamelot or Delain until last week when I won tickets from Virgin Moble to attend their concert in Denver, Colorado at the Odgen Theater. Since then I realize I have been missing a great music genre. I am truly excited to be going to a live concert of theirs!I feel like I am Arthur, King of the Britons--I seek Kamelot and the Holy Grail!

I can agree this sounds like Mercy Falls from Seventh Wonder. I was initially concerned that Tommy would not live up to Roy Khan's lofty and well deserved reputation.....boy, was I pleasantly surprised.
