Thanks for the help Paul. You saved me at least $650! Enjoy your beer!
Great video, followed the well shown methods for dismantling the dryer, sent board away as advised, great service by repair company. Reinstalled board as shown. Saved either paying out £280 for replacement board or buying a new tumble dryer. Thank you.
Another brilliantly demonstrated dvd. Many thanks for your time and expertise. 👏👍👏👍👏👍🏴
I did this job last year in Oktober, the dryer runs now perfekt. I always enjoy your videos, learning English and repairing. Best wishes from Germany
Great to hear! I'm glad you enjoyed the video please remember to subscribe as that's what keeps us going. Tschüss
I think I am in love with this man
Brilliant stuff, really well explained and filmed - thank you. I've tested that power is getting to the PCB and have now packed it off for repair - fingers crossed they can sort it and I'll have it back and running again in a few days!
update - I got a notification about 2 hours after my parcel was delivered to the repair guys, to say my parcel was on its way to me. They must have whipped it out, replaced the chip right away and sent it back. Apart from a slight mix up in getting the wiring exactly as it should be, it's now running just fine again. Thanks so much!
Hi There I’m an electronics engineer and have just repaired a circuit board shown in your video. The fault was almost the same as you were having. Would not start tumbling but would briefly try to start but would not run and the start light would just start flashing again.
The fault was a small 10uf 400V electrolytic capacitor on the circuit board. It’s in that switch mode section of the board you were showing.
You just need a soldering iron and a replacement electrolytic.
Thanks for the tip with the control selector with the small cutouts in it.
I would love you to leave your opinion on our poll about manufactures building in obsolescence to appliances. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxygHomnUySd_bYjaJBdEHPO6T4dYo9Ahm

Thanks for the information on the PCB repair service. I might have to use their service to fix a programme selection knob on a bosch WTL5400 drier that randomly chooses another programme by itself, interrupting and stopping any programme already running.
Thanks a lot for the video. I have just had this problem and looks like this could be the issue.
I own you a beer 🍻

Hi , love your videos , ive found a few solutions to dryer problems , now here is my question , if the mains filter suppressor is dead/blown, will that cause the dryer to have zero power at the circuit board ? its a Grundig GTN27110 Condenser Tumble Dryer Thanks in advance
Nice repair, thanks for the video
Thanks for watching! it should safe some waste in the world
Thanks
Great content as usual I’m also looking forward to the drive belt change as well..
Coming soon! not sure it will be on this one as already started other video but its on the list mate. only so many hours in a day
I totally understand 👍
I worked quite a few hours extra to make you this, but it looks like it's going to be a worthwhile video i hope it helps you. Bosch made belt replacement ruclips.net/video/jweshDZymS0/видео.html should be uploaded in an hour
Great videos..what do you think on a bosch 300 series error e02 ...cleaned out heater was blocked and co denser was cleaned .. no air flow blockage
Thank you. Very helpful. I couldn't find anyone can fix the circuit board in my country. Does anyone know the value of the burnt out resist. Looks I have to fix by myself. thx in front.
I guess this information would apply to a Miele model T 9747 WP tumble dryer. It has stopped in the middle of a cycle and won't restart checked every thig including changing a leaking capacitor on side of compressor element
some will
Hello , i want a help please, I have a BOSCH dryer model WTY888W0GR/16 and the problem is that it takes 4-5 hours to dry the clothes, it showed an E25 error once, i dont know what is the error E25. I cleaned the condenser very carefully, then it dried faster and after 1-2 months it does the same again, it is slow to dry. I noticed that the heat pump does not work continuously but stops for 20-25 minutes and starts again and continues with this routine. after 5 hours it starts and dries them normally within 30-40 minutes and stop, after the stop apper in screen ''please clean the filter'', I have cleaned the filter at the beginning. I see that the wattmeter that it consumes 450-480watt when working head pump. Do you know the problem please? Thank you in advance.
nice video. i followed your video to take a look at my siemens iq700 dryer. it seems nothing is wrong with the board. but i did smell a burning smell where the power cables come in to a power relay or something. but been looking on the net for that part and cant find anything.

Great video! Thank you to share your knowledge with us.
My Siemens IQ 500 start cutting off the main power. First after 10 min work, and now straight away after pressing the Start button. Didn't spot any burn smell or overheated cables. How to recognise this part( on the video) is faulty? It should be kind of melted, or?
Thank's a lot for your job!
Edit. Put my comment on the wrong place.
Should be like a separate comment. Sorry.
This turned out to be whats wrong with mine. and there is a black scorch mark on the underside of the face panel... They have also coated a lot of the board with this sticky glue/epoxy.... how much are refurb boards? I am trying to look up the board number but i cant seem to find anything online
if you contact the company on the web page follow the links their about £40 including postage Thanks 👍 for watching and please remember to subscribe to the Channel as that's what keeps us going in able to make the video for you
Hi there, thank to your video I might save my Bosch tumble dryer, I’ve just checked the circuit board and it’s exactly that fault that you have shown on the video. I want to contact that company that fixes the circuit board for me but I cannot find the link or address to contact them. Could you tell me the name of the company please . Thank you .
If you follow the links to my website I have just checked and it is working Glad it was helpful! Thank you for leaving a comment this is for you ruclips.net/user/shortse432SAb2g08 please remember to subscribe as that's is what keeps this channel going. Thanks 👍
My Exxel Bosch tumble dryer works but it goes dead every 5 minutes and starts again on it's ow and off again.
I checked the oveheat stat but seems ok.
Will be the same issue with the PCB?

Hi, I watched your video which was very informative and removed the PCB from my Bosch \Classixx 7 condenser drier. However, I am having trouble contacting the repair company to which you refer. Could you give me the contact details. I tried, thinking I was calling a company called qer Ltd but my call was answered by a national company that only do call-outs rather than letting me send in the PCB for repair. Having taken off the board it would be a shame not to complete the repair myself. I live in the hope that you can come through. Cheers, John
