look at the fact we ethiopian orthodox tewahdo church members believe jesus is one in nature as hot iron is both a flame and an iron unlike Nestorianism, the Christological doctrine that Christ was two distinct beings, one divine (the Logos) and one human (Jesus), who happened to inhabit the same body. The churches that later became Oriental Orthodoxy were firmly anti-Nestorian, and therefore strongly supported the decisions made at Ephesus in 431. Twenty years after Ephesus, the Council of Chalcedon in 451 reaffirmed the view that Jesus Christ was a single person, but at the same time declared that this one person existed "in two complete natures", one human and one divine. Those who opposed Chalcedon saw this as a concession to Nestorianism, or even as a conspiracy to convert the Christian Church to Nestorianism by stealth. As a result, over the following decades, they gradually separated from communion with those who accepted the Council of Chalcedon, and formed the body that is today called the Oriental Orthodox Churches

Weak witness. Should not be compared to R.C. church at all; I am a former r.c. and former Greek orthodox who has transitioned into ethiopian orthodoxy by rebaptism. Everything outside of the orthodox churches are heresies and should not be described as churches in the first place. Heretical groups should be described as groups of followers of Christ, but they don't merit to be called Churches in the original definition of Ecclesia contained within the Nicene Creed. We have to give the truth straight to other people whether they like the sound of it or not just as we would have a heart to deliver the same truth to pagans, agnostics, muslims, etc. This should never be skipped over in conversation. Because from the protestant point of view Christianity is a gobbledegook of all different kinds of churches inspired by the will of men and Sola Scriptura. Ethiopian Orthodox Church is directly from God and the synergy of Scripture, and Holy Tradition delivered directly by Angels to the Church, and not some mans cultural invention. Take the case of St. yared in the Ethiopian Orthodox Church as one of the best examples of this angelic and holy tradition.
If you know church histroy catholic was started in 451 it doesn't originated from jesus christ it was originated after the council of celceadon but oriental church is the original one
I am Catholic, I must say the Ethiopian Orthodox Priest did an excellent job of explaining the splits that resulted at the Council of Chalcedon in 451 AD, this was the Monophysite controversy for which Pope Leo the Great from Rome wrote his Tome which provided the theological formula/explanation regarding the Monophysite question. The Oriental Orthodox, which the Ethiopian and Coptic Orthodox from Egypt are both part of did not agree with is formula, but they both hold to the 3 earlier great councils of Nicea in 325 AD, Constaninopile in 381 AD and Ephesus in 431. As the Priest stated, there are 4 other Oriental Orthodox Churches, 1 in India, 1 in Syria, 1, 1 in Armenia and 1 in Eritrea. The Catholic Church recognizes the 7 Sacraments of the Oriental Orthodox Churches as valid/ Holy Mysteries in Eastern Terminology and there have been for years ongoing discussions between the Catholic Church and Oriental Church to re-establish full Communion. catholicstarherald.org/catholic-oriental-orthodox-churches-a-step-closer-to-full-communion/ www.ncronline.org/news/vatican/pope-catholic-oriental-orthodox-should-look-more-sacramental-sharing

i WOULD STILL LIKE A NAYIKA AND A VEDIC WEDDING CEREMONY...
Remember when Rome branded Ethiopian orthodox as heretics? Back at them huh!!! You went from one ridiculousness to another
How is it the the E O church is directly from God??
And what specific scriptures n tradition were delivered by angels?

Hmmm.. why do you say that, St. Louis IX ? I want an honest scriptural answer. *Don't they have all 7 sacraments of grace like the Roman Church ?*
@@mtalk828 me too. so please st Louis the 9th, answer the question.
If you know church histroy catholic was started in 451 it doesn't originated from jesus christ it was originated after the council of celceadon but oriental church is the original one
Catholic is heretical by dividing Iyesus Christos into two. But Iyesus Christos can't be divided, he is one.
