"the best you never had" -referring to this generation wasnt alive or were very small to never truly live rock n roll when it was in it's peak. "I miss missing you" (missing the times where rock n roll was mainstream and all the popular bands were together and writing music) and a whole other bunch references.

I never comment on Patrick's videos out of respect for him. He is my lil cousin and he is repping the stump with his hand cut off and he actually wrote all the videos for this album n set of 11 parts. It thrills me that you all said such nice things about all of Fallout Boy. Patrick is only 5 ft. 5 inches tall with that powerful voice. Rolling Stone voted him the voice of a generation. That is Elton John's line in the last song from this album. Thanks again for all the love sent their way.

even after all these years i still think this is one of the most masterful pieces of art ive ever seen. like, there are so many parts to it, so many characters and layers and themes, and symbolism and chapters to this story. like. i could go on and on about what i think each part means, i /have/ actually gone through it piece by piece, writing it all down and thinking about it for hours. the monologue at the beginning, the blood dripping off of the flowers, all the characters they pass by?? the woman and the baby doll, the son being chained up by a religious statue, the man fighting a fake alligator. the person wearing a gas mask watching tv and the child with all the dangerous electric equipment. and then how everyone gathers around the two of them at the end, cheering them on to kill each other? how when they finally do, the suitcase gets taken anyway, like after all that they still lost. and the way they both die together, but facing opposite directions. how pete stabs him first but when patrick finally kills pete he looks around to see people cheering, but then looks down and realizes hes dying also. oof, man. every time i watch this i catch new things i havent noticed before. i think this video deserved way more recognition than it got. yall really did a number on this

I think this was written by Patrick for an ex and then realized he had to share it with the group because they were doing all sorts of tipping hats off (patrick has no fedora here), but when shared with the whole band, they joked around doing a send off for Ryden since 2013 is when Bren got married plus the mighty fall is about MCR (on my birthday). I just realized this, now that I'm on quarantine I am seeing to many ships again LOL.
