Okay so what happened is fob got kidnapped by a bunch of hot chicks and then long story short Patrick lost his hand and his sanity and killed everyone and they all go to heaven (except joe) and meet Elton Jo-God and then they kill mr. long nose and they get his blood all over gods suit (poor suit)
Okay because i have time, below is my interpretation of the video: The Death Cult has killed FOB and retrieved the suitcase. Meanwhile in Limbo Patrick having been possessed is fighting for his soul. Pass, fail. Heaven, Hell. Patrick gets into heaven and understanding its their friend and not their killer the guys greet him. They meet God who took the form of someone they guys could accept as God. So he looks like Elton John They become imbued with the holy powers of rock. They’re essentially heavenly Power Rangers now. Now back on Earth FOB is fighting the cult to stop whatever it is that they have going on. Only it’s too late. Whatever is in the briefcase is released. So here we are at the ending. It represents the fact that no side ever really wins. Saving Rock and Roll is a never ending battle. Thank you for listening to my TED Talk.

man I remember back when I was a kid me and my friends were soo interested in what was in the suitcase, we started listening when only like 7 or 8 parts were out and every time a new one dropped we'd get so hyped.. I miss those times man
I found it really creative and authentic for FOB to name this song and their album Save Rock and Roll. If you think about it the name has a really deep meaning to it. During the late 90's to the early 2000's rock and alternative bands were taking over the nation. Now with decline of those bands FOB is trying to retrieve the alternative and rock empire and put it back on top.
It makes me laugh because they stated in an interview that they called it that ironically, because of Pete thinking that all the magazines who say that they were back to "Save Rock and Roll".

Here's my interpretation of this: The plague doctor (crow mask) is the embodiment of haters and hate itself and the ending of this video shows that FOB will stand up to the hate and conquer it, hence the lyrics "Oh no, we won't go, we don't know when to quit, oh oh." And Elton John's line "Trouble seems to follow." The whole entire series is about rock diminishing until it was almost dead, hence everyone in the band dying, but Elton John revamped Rock and Roll and gave rock a new meaning and life.
also, the bird man thing was a demon called xibalba. Its the demon of fear and Fall Out Boy trapped it in the case to save rock and roll. ignorant people are against things they dont understand because they are scared, right? In FOB's perspective, they stick to what they love - their passion to rock and roll, the good ol' music that will always be substantial, and THAT'S what the NEW GENERATION of music is lacking. They only make music that will give them popularity or music that they think people will love, hence the overpowering ridiculous looks over shadowing the concept of the true art of music - the music itself. Unlike them, FOB sticks to their beliefs for real music; they still believe the true essence of "Rock and Roll". Despite the over hyped music bands and singer that will soon be forgotten, FOB will always be remembered for what THEY LOVE, their passion of music, and their passion of true "Rock and Roll".
You know I like fall out boy and newer rock like TDG, TFC, ADTR, LP, BVB, Skillet, Thirty Seconds To Mars, etc. So to me it represented what they wanted to be and what society wanted from them. Which for those who don't like rock as it is now would translate to not going to new rock. For me it would be not changing themselves despite what others think

In my opinion this is their best song. It's powerful, emotional and inspirational. I love it. They are amazing. ❤
I found it really creative and authentic for FOB to name this song and their album Save Rock and Roll. If you think about it the name has a really deep meaning to it. During the late 90's to the early 2000's rock and alternative bands were taking over the nation. Now with decline of those bands FOB is trying to retrieve the alternative and rock empire and put it back on top.
It makes me laugh because they stated in an interview that they called it that ironically, because of Pete thinking that all the magazines who say that they were back to "Save Rock and Roll".
All these years later and this song still blows my mind and makes me cry so amazing

Here's my interpretation of this:
The plague doctor (crow mask) is the embodiment of haters and hate itself and the ending of this video shows that FOB will stand up to the hate and conquer it, hence the lyrics "Oh no, we won't go, we don't know when to quit, oh oh." And Elton John's line "Trouble seems to follow." The whole entire series is about rock diminishing until it was almost dead, hence everyone in the band dying, but Elton John revamped Rock and Roll and gave rock a new meaning and life.
also, the bird man thing was a demon called xibalba. Its the demon of fear and Fall Out Boy trapped it in the case to save rock and roll. ignorant people are against things they dont understand because they are scared, right? When the cult let xibalba out the case FOB kill it, thus saving rock and roll

I finally get the true meaning to that line. I had an idea, but I fully understand it now.
Indeed, we are what we love. In FOB's perspective, they stick to what they love - their passion to rock and roll, the good ol' music that will always be substantial, and THAT'S what the NEW GENERATION of music is lacking. They only make music that will give them popularity or music that they think people will love, hence the overpowering ridiculous looks over shadowing the concept of the true art of music - the music itself. Unlike them, FOB sticks to their beliefs for real music; they still believe the true essence of "Rock and Roll".
Despite the over hyped music bands and singer that will soon be forgotten, FOB will always be remembered for what THEY LOVE, their passion of music, and their passion of true "Rock and Roll".
You know I like fall out boy and newer rock like TDG, TFC, ADTR, LP, BVB, Skillet, Thirty Seconds To Mars, etc. So to me it represented what they wanted to be and what society wanted from them. Which for those who don't like rock as it is now would translate to not going to new rock. For me it would be not changing themselves despite what others think
