this job can be completed in 20 min , you do not need to pull the door window switch .. you do not need to take out the window regulator , you also do not need to take out the exterior door handle ... you will need to pop the wire harness mount and rest door panel on the side roll window up and slide actuator out behind the window regulator
It's actually possible to replace the actuator without removing the door handle, without removing the window regulator...only pain in the as* is the cable holders of the lock actuator itsef...it took me about an hour to replace...i didn't even disconnect anything of the doorpanel,i just left it hanging on the ground
Strange you don’t show how to disconnect the window from the regulator, but it helped me as I just rotated the inner door handle assembly and the door latch as one out through the door without removing the regulator. Thanks for the video-it helped a lot!
Detailed video. It is possible to remove the door actuator without taking out the outside handle assembly. Meaning, that you have to disconnect only the white cable shown at around 18:41, while the actuator is still inside the door. Additionally, the vertical beam you removed at around 14:00 can be left on. If you flip the actuator while inside the door, it is still possible to pass it from behind this vertical beam.
If I replace my driver front door that has the Technology package /comfort , with used a one. Do I also have to swap out out lock actuator and the key hole slot?

I have another problem of the drivers window going all the way to the top and then it come down a few inches. Can you show what we can do please?
A QUICK WAY TO BYPASS ALL OF THAT IS TO USE THE KEY. Open up your fab and take the key out and open the door manually. Only for driver side door though.

No you made it a lot harder then it has to be you can literally pull it out without the window regulator and the outer door handle
