removing lock cylinder so much easier if you use the key blade in the lock.

Thanks for the video. I just need to see the mechanism itself.
I did not pull out the window on my 328xi. Here's my steps
Pull door panel off
Remove the lock
Remove the door handle (my car has the light and the keyless entry so just disconnect the cable as he mentioned)
Remove the thing with the pink cover (1 screw holding it in behind the handle)
Up to this point, i just followed his video. But when i removed the pink bracket thingie-ma‐bob I can pull that out and i just rotated the door lock mechanism and it can come out without removing the window. The rotation is against the z axis. Basically where the door lock latches, turn that towrd the outside of ur door and it just comes out.
Replace the cable and follow reverse steps.
