The fact you hide “Buy me a coffee” speaks volumes, what genuine people you both really are, great Channel great content, long may it last. Thanks Rob ,Thanks Chris for the very best reality show, bar none, ever. Please keep up the great work. Dave.
Spot on well said 👍🏻
The joke at the end is hilarious 😅
Its great to see how Chris has really come to life in front of the camera over the last couple of years. From camera shy to absolute natural. Keep up the good work guys, loving the content.
It's super refreshing to know that there's still some honest chap's out there, hope you guys have an even better next year...thanks for quality content, be lucky chap's....
Your fairness and honesty has an immeasurable value. You don’t always get a coffee out of it but you sleep good and get a good laugh out of it Thanks so much Gentlemen.
Loved the parrot joke at the end. Didn't see that punchline coming either. lol. 🤣
Said it before but like you both. Your principals, your workmanship and all the best Craig more jokes you have a hidden talent
I loved the honesty and the hearty laughs at how much you made, honest as ever.
Southern softie shorts anytime of year up North great job again Rob
OK that's got to be a new feature of the videos. Proper British joke at the end! Merry Christmas from the US.
Get a stove fan for the top of your fire to blow the hot air around
There are no more genuine guys out there than these two good gentlemen. I hope you pick up some cheap salvage soon as I'm looking for a car for my son who takes his test in January. Not counting chickens though. You could not purchas a better car than from Salvage rebuilds. Where else can you watch a car being repaired? The best possible quality with the highest personal and professional integrity anywhere!! 👍
Guys I love your attitude! Every time I tune in I am struck by the positive vibe. Cheers again J
I fully agree. Makes my day every time rob and chris post a video
Been snowing here in the woolly north for a few days ....... went to pick my daughter up from work yesterday evening and saw a lad in a T-shirt and shorts !!! They breed e'm tough in Middlesbrough
Great video. 😂
I own a 2016 V40 T4, and sustained a hit in the rear of the car while stationary at traffic lights. My car's repair costs were ( on currency conversion) GBP 9,500, so your repair costs were "cheap." Yes, parts for this model are not cheap. But they are a solidly built car, and the repairer said the job was pretty straightforward and worth doing. Where I live, (Australia) dealers still ask, and get, over ( currency conversion again) GBP 12000 for good condition, low mileage models of this model year V40.
Cracking video as always guys.didnt expect the joke at the end but sure had me giggled 😂 this needs to be a December thing now joke at the end of every video 👍
At least you can still operate, make a profit on some, a loss on others, that's life. It is another car back on the road, safely, instead of being scrapped! Well done both of you.
💯
I wouldn’t call it a fail chaps - you’ve put a decent car back on the road, we’ve all enjoyed following the progress and you’re in the green 😁 As a Volvo owner and fan, been loving the recent Volvo content! The parrot joke was an added bonus 😆👌🏼
Swings & Roundabouts guy ,, you know the score, nice little motor 👍👍
So called air bag dust is only talcum powder used as a lubricant for when the bag unfolds.
Thing I like about you both is the cars are affordable, unlike others on RUclips so with that I thank you
Got to remember, although you didn't make much profit you still had lots of views making some money from Utube.
This is great as we all want to see more videos. Keep them coming.
Nice job again gents. Think we all got a good insight into the work required not only on fixing the vehicle but also what goes into getting parts at the right price point with this one. Not only can you fix cars but you’re also a modern day Morecambe and Wise! Cheers gents.
Brilliant as ever guys! Cracking joke at the end Rob that was funny!!😂😂
Love the parrot joke. One to tell down the pub next week 🤣🤣
Barry Crier jokes always good , love the videos and really admire the quality of your workmanship.
The best thing about Sunday night
Fantastic end to the video Rob Chris's face was a picture. Tony Blackburn end joke should become a feature 😅
OMG Rob & Chris!!!!! I didn’t realise Rob was a natural!!!!!! Flipping heck, that joke was absolutely brilliant - lol
I’m still laughing 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Lol
You only made £500 on the Volvo but the content you have made this year has been priceless. Really great to see two local fellas doing so well. Even Robs joke was a winner!
Big 👍👍👍guys nice job again have a great Christmas and New year 👍
Ha ha! 😁 Rob, Chris gave you his version of a “good telling-off” over the Volvo money! (What a truly lovely and kind man he is!) Bless you both 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
As always, a genuine honest report on real-life Salvage re-building of Salvage auto repairs. Thank you, Rob & Chris
I’d say you’ve had another superb year chaps, have some Coffee’s on me cheers boys 👍😉💪
Well boys if a £500 profit is the worse thing to happen your on good ground for a good future keep em coming, loved the ending joke made me chuckle, lets have a few more 😂😂
The joke at the end, brilliant 😂😂
Thanks for all of the entertainment .. you immediately became my No1 channel, I will quite regularly miss episodes of other channels, but not yourselves ... Merry Christmas and a Happy new Year !!! Hello Keith .. that could be a new item in 2024 the "hello Keith segment" PMSL
lol thank you bud much appreciated
Another great video guys, shame you didn't get a good shout back on this one!, but as long as you both are happy with the result, who cares, some lucky person is getting a safe reliable car, at a good price!!. 👌👍
Once again Guy's transparency!, 10 out of 10, and thanks for another great journey in bringing a car back to life!!!!....
You two are so so clever fixing car's.
23:02 The best bit 🦜🦜🦜🦜🤣🤣🤣🤣
Best compliment i could give you, is that id feel very confident buying a car from you, and i worked for many years in various positions in the motor trade before retirement. Keep up the good work, and JOKES. 😊
It's great to see you guys crunching the numbers at the fire .B.t.w, did you sell or keep the lwb range rover ?
Like they way Chris worked out the hourly rate 😉
You guys are a fine example to those in the motor trade. Straight up and honest
Guys. You are so entertaining and informative. A TV show surely beckons but hopefully you’ll decline so you can continue as you are. Watching from Chennai. South India in their first cyclone since 2015. Today’s flight to LHR massively delayed. We come home Wednesday so hope weather and delays improve. The parrot brought a smile as we sit out the storm. Keep it up guys. From someone who knows nothing about car repairs but learning (from you!)
Rob, Chris. Thanks for another year of brilliant videos. You manage to keep them fresh and interesting. But you two guys glue them whole thing together with a feel good factor. I hope you both, and you’re families/loved ones, have a wonderful Christmas!!!
Hope 2024 is even better for you both and Salvage Rebuilds.
Liam isn’t the only bloke wearing shorts for work in December, I have to wear work shorts part of my work uniform! 😂 It sure does got nippy! 😂😂
Your public are going to expect a quality comedy section every week now Rob!
That joke 🤣🤣🤣 nice one guy's not the best profit but still a profit 👌👌👌
You are both winners in my book well done guys 😊.
Can I have my parrot back…???
Fantastic as always gents.👍🏼
You two guys are such a good team. We can feel the camaraderie.
Greetings from sunny Florida. After 30 plus years in Minnesota, I could recognize your every shudder. Hope you can find a warm spot for the holidays and have a Merry Christmas.
another top job in the making fantastic paint work looks amazing Guys 👍
Every car is a gamble and every profit is still a profit so well done guys and another car is back on the road, the best kind of recycling
Thanks! Always enjoy the videos.
Glad to hear it! Thank you bud 👍
Hello Rob and Chris, another great video. You two really work well together. Great joke at the end. Enjoy your coffee. Thank you for taking the time to upload another video . Ged
I love your work ethics guys, You don't stitch people up with over priced poorly repaired cars as you both have decent morals and are honest, You enjoy what you do and as you say you make enough ££ to keep the lights on in the unit and the log burner going! Good luck for the future and please keep it up! 👍
Important to show that you don't always make a load of profit. Great video again.
Once again you guys another car smashed out the park .This car will make someone a really good car.keep up the great videos Rob and Chris .👍🏻
Thanks for the entertainment this year. Have a great Christmas guys.
Same to you! And thank you 👌👍
So nice to have two honest guys in the trade
That's a great attitude to earning money fellas totally understand and realistic.
Glad I stuck around for the funnies - brilliant! You'll never get Tony Blackburn spreading that one, lol🤣🤣
Love your work ethics guys ,it's not all about profit, but someone has got a well sorted car, great work guys.
Love these guys, they are as genuine as they come, really great videos
Brilliant video as always. Refreshing there's people still doing top work and still not trying to get the absolute back out of everything
Nice one guys. I am fascinated, and of course none of my business, but I wonder what the end figure would be if you included all the running expenses, tools and tool replacement, Government taxes, etc., etc. On this one surely you would have made quite a loss?
Looked lovely when it was all done, and of course its a Volvo, my favourite.
Keep warm and well during the winter months.
Cheers, Bob
Good one Rob, about wet myself with that joke, priceless.
At least you didn’t lose on it! It’s a cracking car now. Got an ambulance driver the other day and was wearing your hat and he also watched the channel!
Used to go over that bridge many times and used to get stuck when boats hit as I did my national service at shepherds in 1956
Another one turned out 1st class by you and Chris. Stunning car. Great joke at the end 🤣🤣
Best ending so far! Think we need a Rob joke at the end of every car build from now on 😂
and a fact from chris
It’s not the first time 👌👍
Great video guys, someone will get a lovely little car there at decent money - keep up the good work 👍
The joke at the end, that made me chuckle
You did well guys again ,win some lose some
Brilliant video especially the joke at the end …sorry the Range Rover never came off we weren’t quickest to the post ! It’s up for sale now fixed at 10.5k still quite cheap
great series guys really turned out nice
The way the parts prices were added up, I’m surprised your still in profit !
Sunday evening sorted....the Mrs is over the moon 😂😂🎉🎉
Well done guys, nice to have the before and after shots too, really showcases what you do. 👍😊🛠🇬🇧
You probably could of got the motor for 2k but like you say, you’ve not lost money, great vid content 👍👍
Another great video Rob & Chris, so many years of watching and still look forward to each Wednesday & Sunday. Loving the joke at the end! 😂😂😂 please make that the new ending to every video. 👍
Its unusual to see so much snow in Kent. Currently North West England is blanketed with the damned stuff and getting to the lake district is a bit tricky. I think that even as a repaired car you could have asked £7000 for that car and then recouped a bit more on the front bumper skin. You should still turn a profit and you have saved a car which would otherwise have been scrapped for parts in all probability. The joke was very funny by the way.
So, Rob, very honest. With the benefit of hindsight, what was the right buy price? £2k not £3K?
Least someone gets a nice car and you have done work to be proud of .
At the end of the day it was a pleasure watching Chris working his magic.
Well done guy's a long time coming but well worth waiting for can't wait to see what's next looking forward to it 🎉🎉
Due a doozy as you said - had a run of good ones! Glad you didn’t hide anything, as usual - and you’ve put a nice safe family car back on the road for someone to use. Keep up the good work as always!
Enjoyed this one you have come a long way since I started watching the channel a fire damage fiesta happy Christmas lads
Brilliant video!! Amazing transformation!!
The amount of times I waited at the Kings ferry bridge in my childhood on my way to and from holiday home in Eastchurch on Sheppey.
Hope all is well, take care.
I like that black Volvo v40. I've have grey v40 R Designed on a 14 plate has a 100,000 miles on the clock.
Rob loved the video a good job done I know it was a low profit but the joke was worth a million but in all seriousness have you found or know about a Volvo breaker's on the A1 just before st Neots could be something to check in future if you do anymore Volvo's 👍🏻
The "dust" emitted from an airbag is simply talcum powder which is used as a lubricant to make sure the bag deploys correctly.
Enjoyed following you this year. See you again in 2024
Can you do an end of year round up video Rob? Be good to know the story’s on what went and what you still got, what was your favourite and which one was hardest, also a quick scan around the new yard 👍🏻
A lecture in ethics and good people doing the right thing.........lovely work and thank you for a lovely year of content free to me too in Oz!!!
Lads those comments at the end re the thumbnail might float over most peoples heads. You’ve been a real inspiration on how to knock a video together Rob, though I’m still beholden to my logo and leaving things on screen for too long but having a joke at the end is an absolute blinder though I could never deliver that well.
Keep it up lads. Stay lucky and stay warm
I was just thinking at the end by the fire, you two are like Derek and Clive, but not so much swearing! Then the joke at the end had me in stitches😂😂
Honesty suits you - you are two very nice gentlemen, thank you.
