Malaysian Johor Bahru and Singapore are currently one the busiest border crossing in the world with over 350,000 travellers daily. I think the projection capacity of 30,000 for the new RTS are too low in order to reduce the current traffic.

Singapore has started clearing land and space for the new woodlands customs. Johor CIQ should fully automate customs, and both countries should expand the causeway for people to walk across safely. Just like the bridge from Singapore to Sentosa.
      ------------------
"Work to expand the Woodlands Checkpoint to five times its size will begin in 2025, and the first phase, comprising an extension at the Old Woodlands Town Centre and Bukit Timah Expressway, is targeted to be completed progressively from 2028.
Afterwards, the Old Woodlands Checkpoint will be demolished and integrated with the extension, which is expected to be fully operational by 2032, the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) said on Jan 29." - Channel News Asia

Alright, let’s get this straight: the RTS isn’t some lazy train that shows up for a 30-minute cameo and disappears. This beast is built to move 10,000 commuters every hour, which means in just 3 hours, you’ve got 30,000 people smoothly whisked away like clockwork. But don’t think it’s just pulling a three-hour shift and calling it a day - nope! It’s hustling from 5:30am till midnight, working harder than your alarm clock on Monday mornings!
