What torque did you use? I have the Primos and the front passenger strut bolt loosened up, causing the busted strut sound. I tightened it to where the same threads show on the bolt on driver side, and it's not noisy anymore, but I just wanna make sure it doesn't happen again.

Mark Nouws hey mark I know this is a 5 month old comment but just looking for some insight. I see you say the are great for “daily driving”, I’m just curious if you feel they would perform well in canyon/mountain runs on a Wrx. Like cornering and handling wise or are they just good for looks and high way cruising.

I've had the Primos on my 2006 Mazda 3 hatch for almost a year. When I first got them, I went full send to the ground minus an inch in the front. An immediate 4" drop was insane! The roads in Chattanooga could be better, but what surprised me is that they would never bottom out. Very responsive even with the dampening set to 7 and 15 is max stiffness. I eventually got new tires and started rubbing my inner fenders, so I raised it over and inch. My 45 tires still tuck on stock 17's, but the extra suspension travel from raising it has made the ride so much smoother. So it's very stiff dropped all the way, and smoother if raised just a tad. I have fun no matter what height, but at least I can get around better. The raid had been destroying the roads.

But overall, I would probably buy them again if needed, Idk how the $430 ones are but they can't be too far off. And also, don't get their strut spreader, it doesn't work, just indented the metal of the knuckles and would shoot out, just use a big flat head screw driver and hammer it into the slot to open up the pinch mount

Okay, first of all you have no anti seize on those locking collars and threads, if raceland catches this video they wont honor the warranty if the collars seize on. Also i grease the bottom and tops of the springs and use rustoleum rust protection paint that converts rust and protects things with a black coating even on powdercoated stuff cus the powdercoat wont last rust wise.
Also you should have put rubber shims on the spring ends thats most likely your problem i havent heard any noises quiet as day. Idk why they dont come with shims.
