You explained things so clearly, the closeup shots were nice so I could see exactly what you were doing... and the end result is SO beautiful! Thank you... Hi Karie! Yes, I did make the ring I was wearing. I followed a tutorial from Raftark (here on youtube). They are really simple to make! I highly recommend his channel!
I'm sure it could! Just reduce the size of the template when you print it out. You will have to do some math to get the new wire lengths. Or just trace the new template with a piece of 28g wire, then cut and measure it to find your piece lengths.
Thank you for sharing. The one I made came out close to yours, I had to estimate the pattern. Don’t know if you are aware there is no template, it only goes to your Etsy page, nothing there about wire crafting. No others website. But my niece will love it!

I plan to. I wanted to start making videos again after my divorce finalized and I got my house to myself, but then I was working a LOT. My jewelry business is my second job, and I've been doing more craft fairs this year, and taking more custom orders. I'm happy that I have the work, but I miss being able to make videos. I'm about to start more wind chimes, so I'm thinking that I will do a few videos on that process. The steps I take to make them, and then a separate video for the stationary butterfly I use, and then a third one for a dragonfly. 🤞

I bought those ones from a group on Facebook called Ganesh Gems Beads and Supplies. But any top drilled teardrop style bead will work. You just may need to adjust the butterfly size a little if you get some that are bigger than what I used in this video. You can do that by printing the template at 125% or higher. You will have to play around with what size works best for you.
