Seeing them play this song live was life changing. It was the first song they played at the show. They came out in full costume and it was just beautiful
Great music video and song composition. Behemoth is the top shelf of performance and song composition. There's also something really good in their performance live🤘
When talking about Behemoth you need to understand that almost all of it is directly aimed at the catholic church. Nergal (Adam Darski, the singer) is a satanist, but he treats Satan as metaphor for a rebel, to deny anything above this life. Everything is about exalting the human being and self improvement, self empowerment.
@@intjreactskinda weird response, ngl. Ofc you don’t “need to know” anything. You don’t need to listen to the song either. Guy’s probably just saying you need to understand it for full context. Maybe he’s butthurt and offended that you don’t get it, but that would be very silly for someone who listens to this kind of music to get offended over lol.
@@intjreacts this is extremely stupid response. It shows that you're extremely narrow minded which reflects your mentality, of stupidity. Sorry not Sorry.
i especially like the drums on this song especially the finale, it somehow manages to keep a distinctly ethereal/dark sound while going bonkers. Kind of rare.
@@intjreacts Theyre Black Metal, but theyre incredibly unique in their sound and theyre especially well known for their lyrics. Their brand of Black Metal is very untraditional, checkout their song "Abcission".
Arte é energia e tem intensidade ou, simplesmente, para alguns, pode não transmitir nenhum conteúdo. Vai entender o gosto humano. Aprecio as músicas do Behemoth.
a lot of the lyrical themes reflect on passages and tales from the bible (this one is my interpretation) the virgins C*** spawning forth the snake may reflect on the garden of Eden and the snake being evil or maybe the birth of Christ. looked down on son of god snuffed in vain reflects the death of Christ then the last part Let wine of Sodom fill our mouths May sin of Gomorrah grace our hearts reflects the 2 cities Sodom and Gomorrah from the tale of Abraham and Isaac that were destroyed by god for corruption and sin. and the Blow your trumpets Gabriel part reflects who Gabriel was and that was God's Messenger basically the singer saying to him to deliver the news of the atrocities occurring.
This is probably not the best song as an introduction to Behemoth. This is a really good song imo but you kinda need to be familiar with their sound for it to make sense. I suppose this is also a very European style of music, which you never really hear in the US.. And I really appreciate you don't just say you love it for pleasing viewers. I don't normally listen to Behemoth but this particular album is amazing and yeah, their videos are all about shock value, but in the context of Poland it makes sense. The Catholic church over there is very and I mean very powerful and kicking against that as brutal as they do, is the end result. I don't particularly care for it myself either but there you go.
Did you miss the part where I said that I've listened to black metal from scandavia for the past 2 decades or...? I'm not unfamilar with the genre at all but haven't completely paid attention to a song from Behemoth before this reaction. What song do you recommend from them that's a better representation?
The lyrics to this one are f***ing brilliant. It's written from Satan's perspective! One main theme of this entire album is------ Blasphemy as an legitimate artform. The whole album feels like a suckerpunch straight into the face of stupid and arrogant monotheism!! Great reaction, adorable reactor Greetings from Germany!
Thanks. I highly recommend to you the video - Seal 3- A black horse--- by Sakis Tolis. The video is amazing, i mean the visuals and images! It could be that i recommended that before, i am not sure! Hope you don't bother me being a little bit annoying on that one. I would just love to see your reaction to that! You're amazing! Greetings from Germany

It's to difficult for Americans!
Thanks for watching

It's v cool I agree
Regards from Poland!
hi!
I don't think the woman in this video is sacrificed. She is corrupted until she becomes Gabriel(a) and blows the trumpet to usher in judgement day.
That's a cool perspective
RUclips recommended me Vermilia - Marras
A band from Finnland, female vocals.
I love it.
Noted! Thanks for the rec
Sounds like fun !
There is a death metal band called Carcass and ironically all the band members are vegan or at least were.
A bit like Cattle Decapitation, aint it
That's super interesting!
Hey, have you heard of Deathspell Omega?
Nope, what genre are they?

As much as I like this album, Nergal is a pussy and doing this shock rock shtick in 2014 was not edgy.
Can you react to Sinister Ghost's music? They are really awesome!
I'll add it to the list!
type in Blow Your Trumpets Gabriel uncensored and it pop right up also yeah this is kinda boring
hmmm I still only see the censored version
ma stare zitta no eh? i commenti non li puoi fare alla fine??
lol not you not wanting a reaction from a reaction video 😂
