Harvest - Opeth cover [Vocals/Drums/Guitars etc.] with lyrics

Another beauty by Opeth this time from their album "Blackwater Park". Mikael has a truly amazing voice i could never capture but i enjoyed singing and playing this song anyway. Feel free to comment.
Recoreded with: Cubase, Amplitube 3, Rode NT1A, Cort Accoustic Guitar, Cort M600 (1992), some bass guitar and the Alesis DM10 Pro along with Addictive Drums.

How did you sound so similar to the vocalist? What effects/VSTs/ect did you run through the vocal channel? Sounds absolutely fantastic, I'm a huge Opeth fan and you really nailed it!!

Everything was recorded with Cubase 5. There are 2 voice tracks (high and low): one is an octave higher on the verses and during the chorus it does a harmony over the deeper voice track. Just a little bit of reverb and EQ (i recorded with ia Rode NT1-A and it misses a few highs so i turned those up a bit. I think it is less a question of effects but of the two different tracks that make up the whole thing
