Better way to reinstall the dust cover: put it into the front half-moon slot, then slap it down with the heel of your hand while maintaining a bit of forward pressure. No need to fight the spring to get it into position. Just a quick slap and you're golden.
I love my GF4. It has been 100% reliable and very accurate. I think it is as accurate as my FN barreled PSA AKs. Colton Sons from PSA worked with FN on the development of the AK barrel. After that was completed and working good, he worked with DC Machine (PSA's sister company that manufactures their nitride barrels) to develop the CHF CL barrel for the GF4. It seems to be just as good if not better than the FN barrel. I believe Colton did an excellent job with these barrels.
I just picked up the gf4 with the PSA chf cl barrel and am kind of regretting it over the gf5 with the fn chf cl barrel. Why do you think PSA's CHF CL Barrel is nicer than the fn?
@Grizzlyman420 At least 2k rounds and still going strong brother. The gf5 is the best model compared to the gf3 and gf4, and it also has the fn barrel in it, which is top tier and what the military uses. You'll be happy you got the gf5. My gf4 is my favorite gun I own.
@@timmylitt45 thanks for the feedback! Glad to hear it’s running good. I kinda went out on a limb with this GF5. Keep the rounds down on my imports. Lots of mixed reviews but it seems the GF5 has worked most issues out. The firing pin breaking kinda has me nervous so maybe I’ll buy an extra one just in case.
My firing pin broke after about 200 rounds. Called psa and they said to send rifle in for repair. I told them If they can just send me a new firing pin and they said they don’t have any to send. I told them I don’t want to send rifle in just for a firing pin so I’m just going to buy a titanium one and put in myself. Other than that it did shoot good to bad firing pin was defective.
@@burbsl1672 it turns out a tiny piece of the primer that the pin hits somehow got stuck inside the bolt for the firing pin causing it to get stuck and not allowing it to move freely. That’s why the firing pin would not push out far enough to hit the next round. I talked to a gunsmith about it and he said that it’s rare but it does happen sometimes it’s like a freak incident. He said it’s cheap ammo but said that all Ak47 firing pins are open on thats said so hammer can hit it. He said there are one manufacture of Ak that has it closed enough so that didn’t happen. What are the chances
It might not have been the rifle, it was probably you. You slowly got accustomed to the recoil and began shooting better. This is extremely common in the world of shooting. Just saying.

People love AK's from imported countries. I get it but there's nothing wrong with PSA at all. You could buy their ComBloc AK's those are cool too! bit.ly/3D1Qsgs
I know a lot of people do not like the Magpul forend and furniture but I have watched tons of these videos and one thing is for sure that these four ends get extremely hot and another thing is that the Magpul furniture for an is the only one that you can keep shooting all day without burning your hand or using the glove just keep that in mind when you purchase your next one😊
I must be too picky...as my imported AKs blow my PSAK out of the water when it comes to craftsmanship, fit finish and tolerance...these PSAKs feel cheap and sloppy....because they are.
@@burbsl1672 in a competition measuring centimeters.. I'd say that's true. But in a competition for round count I bet the imports will win every time against any PSAK.
Get the GF4 here: bit.ly/3tt2FEY
Almost 400 rounds through mine and 0 failures. PSA absolutely crushed it with these AK’s just as good as my imports
yeah i have a GF5 and its on its second warranty service with less than 1000 . never again
Just picked one of these up at a gun shop today for a pretty good deal too. My first AK so I have no frame of reference, but I like it very much
How’s she holding up? I just got the gf5 looking for feedback
GF3 series came in with an outstanding trigger out of the box. I bet these are as good if not better. Cool video, man.

Just ordered this and the ar with matching serial numbers. Looking forward to shooting them. Great review 👍🏻

It’s so pretty.
I've got a lead star barrage 762 pistol. I love it. 2.5 lb trigger.
Next review the Dagger😃
Wouldn't that be nice😂
Gotta get some of these
You cost me some $$$.....such a good review...had to have one !!
Good job thanks

Sucks about the firing pin :/
For whatever reason they had an issue with firing pins. Hopefully they don't cut corners ever again with that.

Didn't like it at first, horrible groups. But after a few hundred rounds, I love it. Groups tightened up and runs smooth, no problems

My gf3 is very picky with steels mags but I love my ak so much
Magpul with these works great
I had to do some quick filing of mags to get them all to sit perfectly in my GF3 but I've read that's a pretty normal AK thing all around.

One version of these in stock at this moment. $899.99
I wanna see the bolt out 😁, so interested to see the craftsmanship on it
Good video.
Can I have it now lol. Good video
juat bought this yesterday, cant w a t to get it

Which is your favorite GF5?
How many rounds do you have through it
I can't find the GF4 version anywhere, all they show is the GF3, is there a difference? Is it an upgraded version?
Links are in the description to the GF4. One of the big differences between the two are the barrels. The GF4 has CHF barrel.
I'm in the market for an AK, I'm looking at the GF5 and people are shouting from the rooftops to stay away from PSA. So what is the deal?
