In a world where children are struggling… Covid was devastating for young people, especially those without a very focused environment. This child knows exactly where she’s going, I would bet. This is what great parenting, and a father, who has taken the time to teach his daughter an incredible skill. What a great pair they make… No doubt they should start a band.

You are obviously an accomplished musician but your ability to step back and allow Ellen to shine on her own earns you "Father Of The Year". Watching you two play together is magical and so uplifting.
I think she'll be just about ready to do studio session work during her next school vacation! I don't really see her working a lemonade stand or biking a paper route.

I honestly hope that this little girl gets to spend the rest of her life pursuing this passion. She is more free and joyful than 95% of the people I have ever met. I see her as a great role model for anybody at any age. Do what you love with passion and put your best effort in consistently and your life will be fulfilling.

We've been WAY overdue to see a musician who enjoys playing as much as Ellen does. No moodiness or "artistic drama", or just staring at the fretboard. Damn; it's just FUN to play music! I've been playing with my kids for years, but you guys have taken it to another level!
True the last time I saw it was Yvette Young when she played 'Sprout'. She smiles when playing and its joyful to watch just like Ellen, but in a different way.
Plenty of female forerunners - perhaps an A+++ female bass player - and knock off the female. Person is good - and has a long way to go, so do what you know Labrador-style, just live in the moment.
Like most people, I've been going through a lot of tough life stuff for a while. The unbridled joy on Ellen's countenance is so infectious, that I find myself shedding some of my self pity when I see/hear her play. My favorite part of each performance is her spontaneous laughter mid-stream. She can't help herself. How many of us are able to console a multitude of strangers with something so pure and beautiful? Her music is a comfort to the afflicted. I hope I live long enough to see her accept her first grammy. Kudos to her family for the obvious support and encouragement.

Oh, I love seeing you playing together. I was introduced to you several years back in a lesson you were giving Ellen on certain riffs, improvising lines, and it totally caught my attention.
