    The best time to exercise is when you have the time to exercise. Training windows are useful if you're an athlete but really for us Joe Bloggs it really doesn't matter. Not to say if you have the freedom and enjoy going at a certain time of day, then by all means. But 99% of people are going to go whenever they can.

    In exercise science there is a saying: specific adaptation to imposed demands. Basically, to a certain extent your body will adapt to the demands you place on it overtime. it's very likely that people's metabolism has adapted around their common activities and the schedule at which said activities occur. But humans aren't machines you need to take into account adherence which is how certain variables effect the individual subject's ability to adhere to a program.

    The comment at 4:36 about the men who worked out in the morning having “ a rise in their blood glucose levels” then emphasizing, “we didn’t expect that “ is curious to why this is a “ surprise “ or subtlety suggest that it is “ bad “ compared to the men who worked out in the evening and had lowered blood sugar where the comment there was “ which was great!” she says.
    It’s common knowldege blood sugar levels can spike during exercise, especially during high-intensity activities, due to a release of stress hormones that signal the liver to produce more glucose. This response ensures that the body's cells have enough energy to fuel the exercise

    • @skyplanet9858

      It is inclusive and scientific. Men and Women differ by the presence of the Y chromosome. It makes sense to study those groups regardless of their sexual orientations/preference. For example, some groups are on a high dose of synthetic hormones and they will skew the P value of any study wherever you put them.

    • @rohlay00
      @rohlay00 2 года назад

      If we include illusory groups there are infinite and this would no longer be science, it would be imagination. In science we are concerned with objective reality. The biologists say there is biological male and female - this is undisputed - if you wish to identify with something other than your biology, that's fine, but science, objective truth, won't change because of your beliefs.
      If there were such a biological group of "non-binary", if this means neither male nor female, for example, we would need a biological human that has no reproductive organs, therfore it wouldn't be assigned as male or female (biologically), and we would empiricaly and objectively find a non-binary group. In this way there is evidence for your claim. With such samples we could do science on these people and study the effects on their metabolism. But without the evidence, as far as science is concerned this is totally made up in imagination.
      Science isn't concerned with being inclusive or political correct, it's concerned with the truth.
      Please provide scientific evidence if you want it to be subjected to science.
      Let me give you an example. If suddenly I decide I belong to a different category of human being, because of my teeth I decide I am a vampire and not a human being. My perception of myself is a personal matter. I cannot go to scientists and say "although I was born biologically male, I believe, I feel, I know, that I am a vampire and I do not belong to either male or female, please include vampire in your scientific studies". The scientists out of compassion (or political correctedness) could say "okay, we created a third "vampire" group for the people that regardless of the reproductive organs they were born with (that would objevtively asign them to their correspondent biological group which defines their metabolism). Now the results of this third group in reality wouldn't belong to a third group, because this group was fabricated in your mind, it doesn't exist in reality, it is subjective. In reality the experiment of this person would correspond to either male or female. This wouldn't be real science. Look into the scientific method, maybe it will help you understand why they didn't put together a 3rd group.
