    Just finished cleaning up my wiring also, waiting on those sinewave controllers that you recommended to get in. I got the 12 volt convertor in, with new lights, got rid of the alarm, and added a $20 NFC Lock switch for the "ignition" for $25 in place of the alarm, (about half the size), Got my Thumb Throttle mod completed and its SOOOO much better than the trigger, less fatiguing for me. I also re-did my Phase wires with XT150 6mm bullet connectors. I added XT90 connectors with antispark to the battery connection so I don't have to listen to that "pop" each time I plug the battery in lol. I know XT90 is above what was in there, but, I changed out my Battery's BMS and cables also to match, I had a 300 AMP Smart BMS from a project that I ended up going Lifepo4 with, so the Li Ion BMS will get its use. I just set the current limit/shutoff to the same limit as the one that was in there, and I can now monitor the balance voltage of the 8 sets of 16, along with the temperature via Bluetooth. Looking forward to the controller installation video, So I can follow along. Thanks again for another great video!

    Could you tell me how to rewire my horn correctly please. I had the same 60v front & rear indicators which I removed, but somewhere in spaghetti junction the front & rear indicator wires were looped in with the head & tail lights and horn wires, to the controller and switch. But since I've removed the indicators, my horn only works when my lights are switched on and not when they're off

    You sound like you know whats up.. though i do have one question...for the motor phase cables, u have the green and blue swapped.. mine go from color to color g-g. B-b. Y-y. Should i switch them?

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  6 месяцев назад

      If your motors are turning in the right direction (forward) then leave them as they are. The only reason you would swap the colors is if the motor was turning backwards. It depends on the motor/controller combination. Controllers with a “learn” function like the Yunli Sinewave controllers, will learn the phase wires regardless of how you have them wired, so it wouldn’t even matter in that case.

      Now wtht the new controllers from FLJ , i got problem with the low and high brakes, it only has 2 wires black and grey for the brakes sensor, wheb my battery fully charged the brakes wont work , when my battery drop to about 40% then the brakes starts kicking in really hard , should i cut off the grey wire and connect to the positive power see if the high brake will kick in at fully charged battery?

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  2 месяца назад

      @mikenguyen4207 The brake sense line only has two wires and they do NOT carry voltage. The brake sense line is just an open/closed indication to the controller triggered by switches in the brake lever assemblies. Do not apply voltage to the brake sense line. If when you pull either brake lever, your brake lights come on, then the brake sense is working properly. Watch this: ruclips.net/video/gLE3i_xoe3I/видео.htmlsi=EgTRFNq2mX5DYgZ6

      The JP controllers are not good and I wouldn’t recommend them. I replaced mine with the Yunli sinewave controllers which are far superior.

    Your customize scooter gonna be bad ass... i just noticed when i unfolded my handle bars that red lever of my scooter is down hitting on scooter deck and i been riding like that since...does it make a difference leaving it down i guess the proper position is keeping the red lever up.... i also tried to unfold the scooter but forgot how i ended up pressing the red lever upwards instead of down where i currently have it but forgot its the other way around i have to push down on the side silver lever then down on the red lever to fold the scooter handle bars down????

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  Год назад +1

      Part 2 will not make your motor work. If you followed part 1 correctly and your motor does not spin then your controllers are bad. The flashing box is an indication that there is an issue between the controllers and the motors. If the wiring is correct, then your controllers are the problem.

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  Год назад +1

      Double check all the display connections. Make sure the pins in the connectors are secure and not backed out.

    Hello why did you connect green with blue and opposite? At the controllers?

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  12 дней назад +1

      The JP controllers that came in mine did not have a learn function so the blue and green needed to be swapped for the motors to turn in the forward direction. It came from the factory that way. I now have the Yunli controller setup which has the learn function, so this is not necessary for those controllers.

      @MotoTaz86 if you’re rebuilding, I highly suggest you switch over to the Yunli setup. It’s so much better than the JP.

    What was the reason for switching the yellow blue green wires?

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  29 дней назад

      The stock JP controllers don’t have a learn function. For the JP controllers with these specific motors, the blue and green must be swapped for the motors to spin forwards. The far better Yunli controllers I am using now have a learn function so the colors don’t matter, the controllers will learn the motors regardless of which color goes where.

    Since you look like u know what’s up. I purchased one on Amazon and when it arrived I checked the voltage and charged it. It lost 3 volts in short time I disconnected the alarm and checked it after some time. It didn’t loose anywhere near the voltage this time. I was ready to put it on the road and touched the display to turn it on and noticed that the power button was extremely hot. I quickly disconnected the battery and waited for it to cool. The dealer promised me a new display but I am not certain if I should wait for the new display. I only have a week left in order to send it back. I don’t know what to do I have not even road it yet and I am presented with all these problems. What so u think should I keep it or send it back before the 30 day limit. Scott Farley

      If the alarm is the same as in the video, then you should be able to bypass it in the same way. A lot of scoots use that same alarm module.

    Hello. Thanks for that video! I have one problem :
    When I turn on the scooter. No problem.
    But when the Eco turbo switch is pressed, and released, so now it is released, my front motor turn alone.
    It is at a small speed, I think 25kilometers/hour.
    And the switch are not doing what they need to do. Dual single, etc.
    Any idea?
    Thanks.
