I love Sean Bonnette's expression at the end. It seems to say "Yeah guys, we just rocked it. We could not have done better." while also seeming solemn. Love these guys.

always wondered if i'm reading too much into it, but a lot of this feels like extended self loathing, it feels like this is about the experience of standing on the sidelines and accurately seeing everything happening in our society, and finding yourself utterly powerless to affect it in any significant way with your voice
put it however YOU want. don't bother on others theories. what you hear and what you think it is about is ultimately what it is. i take this into a more personal song than about hating society. find your side of it.

+A Very Paranoid Android The two concerts of theirs I went to people moshed alot especially the one that Jeff Rosenstock played at. Being in the front for both you feel the mosh its not really moshing as its more people dancing like crazy to the music. Its a great energy.
A Very Paranoid Android I saw them last summer in Portland and we moshed. It's not as intense as what most people think of as moshing though. I feel like it's more just a release of tension and energy. Just really intense dancing. Nobody is throwing punches or anything. It was seriously one of the most amazing concert experiences I've ever had.
I went to a Death Grips concert and moshing is pretty intense. Not like intentionally trying to hurt somebody but we put our weight in them, push them into the madness and jump around randomly, and whenever someone falls, obviously we pick them up so they don't get trampled on, pretty chaotic. I am going to see AJJ this December at SF, maybe the energy would be similar but the venue is most likely going to be cramped. I'm pretty low energy too but I work out enough to handle the craziness. I've been a fan since sophomore year of high school 5 years ago and this is my first time seeing them live.

I have been trying for a year now to replicate his strumming technique and it ended up becoming my favorite style to play, its so bouncy while able to support more solemn or despair sounding tones and its fun as fuck. thanks ajj for being my inspiration

How he sung Im a werewolf was so pure it only highlights the emotion he throws into the rest of the song. He could probably sing it pitch perfect but that is not how the song goes. It is howled. Like a werewolf.

+John McClane Chill. Scott simply stated he missed a previous aspect of a band. He never expressed depreciation for the band's current setup or state, and in all honesty, it had a certain kind of quality with simply Sean and Ben that has, of course changed, since then, but also in all honesty, cannot be emulated, and cannot be gained otherwise. So I would say Sean and Ben make a pretty good dynamic duo. I've met them both, and they're wonderful people. I've yet to meet any of the others in the band, so obviously my opinion is biased, but no need to be a dick to Scott, damn.
