I saw Dub FX in Amsterdam in 2007, street performing, just him and a loop pedal, sat for a good hour and appreciated, at the time I had no idea who he was or what he'd become. Bought his CD and had a 2 min chat with him. It's had a lasting memory for my lifetime. Peace brother x

A very good friend of mine whom I unfortunately lost contact with over the years showed me this when i was small me. i was so blown away by it that i genuinely got high of the sound, cause at the time i have never heard of any tune like this.

I was homeless in Sydney, Australia for 1 year. This song kept me warm on my hardest nights. I knew i would make it through… and here I am. The only thing I realize is that I now have everything I wanted, yet I’m so far from being a free man, as this song depicts. My journey with Dub FX started with this song, discovered while in hospital on morphine after breaking a load of ribs. The nurses said they never seen anyone enjoy themselves so much in intensive care! Thanks Dub FX for carrying me through that challenging time and those since.

ive always said a true artist is better live than a studio recording. this holds true for Dub FX, as well as MC Xander. i wish their albums came from these kinds of recordings as apposed to a studio mix. regardless, true artists they are and shall be for all of time. spreading the words of peace and love.
