By far the best tool for crown hunting I have seen. Thank you for your efforts. You are the only one I have seen that used the puppet spider to give a long look at hunter size comparison. Saved me lots of time not having to put the monster to sleep for the bomb method. Brilliant!! A true labor of love. Great job!!
Literally the best video, the best method to check the size of these monsters. Idky most people decide to do the whole sleep, barrel method. Takes way too long, different variables.. this is so simple. Thank you.
I guess for many the sleep bomb measuring method is a habit from the older games. Back then I still prefered to get a rough estimate of the size and do a bit more hunting instead of caring too much about the exact measurements, which still worked great for me. It definitely is a mindset thing though. Some prefer to hunt a bit more, some just want to end the crown hunt with as few hunts as possible/as fast as possible. Both are valid methods, as long as you don't burn yourself out too much. Good luck with your hunt for crowns and thank you for your kind words.

An interesting thought I have relating to the size of monsters in MH. Small Crown Arzuros is 501.34 long, which is a little over sixteen feet and Gold Crown Arzuros is 854.55 cm, which is just a hair over 28 feet. Meanwhile, the largest polar bear ever recorded was a male shot in Alaska in 1960 that was just under twelve feet long. That means even the smallest Arzuros has at least five feet over the largest known specimen of the real world's largest living land predator, and the largest Arzuros would have to bend over to touch the top of the polar bear's head. That just shows how incredible badass Hunters are, even at Low Rank.

@@Aradoxas I found him so I did not beat him up nicely I slathered him then I killed 50 extra kulus to prove my point to the chickens that there life purpose is to be on my guild card
My wife and I encountered a Gold Crown Barioth randomly and it wiped the floor with us... It would leap across the entire area and tire us out chasing it down.... We did not survive the quest lol
Nice guide! Only a few more to complete rise crowns for platinum trophy. Just a question, how do you get or what is the name of the animal that you use against teostra?
I used this video for a lot of monsters, however, your Shagaru mini crown is WAY off. I followed those exact measurements and it was always a normal size.
@@Sctn187 The desire sensor gives and the desire sensor takes... I know your feeling too well. I helped some friends finish their own crown achievements recently and sometimes it is just cursed and so frustrating. Just remember that the whole thing is a marathon and not a sprint. The crowns will show up!
@@Aradoxas I hope so I've literally been playing for 2 days trying to get risen kushala and chameleos small crowns and they just won't come idk what to do I'm really defeated I wanna give up but I'm too stubborn. I've only had one or two others that gave me this kind of trouble but it's different when they have 50k plus hp
@@Sctn187 If it gets too frustrating just take a break from crown farming for a while. It won't matter in the end if it took another two weeks to finally get them, but don't burn yourself out! Remember to enjoy the game a bit :D The thing with crowns and rare drops or RNG in general is that it's just like everyday life - you only find something when you're not looking for it.
