Awesome... thanks for sharing! Looks super easy to do. It's just a matter of taking the time to do it (aka not being lazy 🥴). VERY useful tip on the zip ties as well 👍🏾
No moisture build up, so far. The truck spends most of the time in the garage though. I don't daily drive it. I did take it on a month-long road trip and it saw lots of rain and storm conditions. Still look good as new. They are sold by AUTOANDART. I posted a link in the video description. Here's the link again: amzn.to/2N0mscz
Trying to decide whether I want to go to LED lights using the factory housings. Have you tried LED's in yours? What halogen bulbs are you using and how do you like them? Nice X by the way!
I haven't tried LEDs in these new housings yet. I had some in the old hazy ones and they SUCKED in the snow.. I like the new bulbs I put in my impreza and will try those.. They're from beamtech and I got them on amazon. I put links to them in the subaru video. Will try them out later this month!
@@rayregnogarage thanks for the fast reply. I will check out the Subaru video. Keep the vids coming. Are you going to do the budget titan swap from PRG or are you planning on doing a full axle swap big money titan swap?
I saw PRG post about the budget swap the other day. Is it new? I had been planning on doing the axle swap but I got distracted with all my other projects. Haha. Which one are you going to do?
@@rayregnogarage I was originally looking at doing the one you currently have but I keep going back to that budget swap from PRG. The price is pretty close so I'm not entirely sure yet. How has your current setup treated you?
@@Yipping_Yeti If I had been given the option, I would have definitely done the budget swap and just slowly upgraded it. I would love to have the wider track width without the spacers I have on it now. I'm also guessing it has more down travel, which my suspension doesn't have a ton of.
Dude when I did this to my xterra I broke SO MANY plastic clips 🤦🏽♂️. Mind you if you have a stock bumper you have to remove the plastic fascia in order to get to the bottom bolts.
Ya. Someone else commented last week that it’s much more involved with the factory bumper. That’s usually the case when you leave all the factory stuff on. I like taking off as much useless plastic as possible. Makes everything so much easier to service. Ha
Why do some of the after market headlights say for the “x & s” models only? Why wouldn’t they fit the pro-4x? When you buy a headlight housing directly from Nissan, they fit all models.
Yup. Same process... MIGHT be a little more challenging to get to some of the bolts, particularly the one where you have to reach through the fender. Might have to pull out the fender liner (my truck doesn't have them anymore), but it shouldn't be a difficult process.
@@nayhtoo141 Let me know how it goes! I'm sure someone else will ask in the future and it would be cool to have a definite answer and maybe have some details on what you had to do differently. Thank you!
If you want better visibility.. ditch those halogen bulbs and get some LEDs.. I put them on my 2007.. and they are unreal.. With your new lenses.. you ll be like baseball field at night..Never going back to Halogen bulbs.
I’ve had several LED bulbs in this truck before and I went back to halogen for a reason. I actually did a video explaining why and tried another set of LEDs in the Xterra a month ago. ruclips.net/video/KZ_V5_xP2RE/видео.html. I have another follow up video on these bulbs I haven’t posted yet. I installed the same on my Ranger (same size as even) with different results. I’ll be posting that video later this week.
I got these for my xterra 3 years ago and they have been great- no issues at all and made my car look brand new!
Glad to hear they've held up! Mine are looking good so far!

Awesome channel, these videos have helped me a ton!
AFTERMARKET BUMPER!!! That makes a big difference. Much more difficult to access the headlights with a stock still on.
Basically everything is harder to do with the factory stuff still on. Haha
0:08 I'm right there with you.
could you update the amazon link to these lamps? awesome video work, working on this soon!
Here's the updated link. Thanks! amzn.to/3fYnQbd
What bumper is that. Love it,

Don't see why they wouldn't.
X and S models came from factory with black housing
Is this the same even with a stock bumper? Thanks in advance!
