Seeds to Sow in February

February is nearly upon us, it's time to plant some seeds from other varieties of vegetable and plant to get the season off with a swing.

Not growing many tomatoes eh 🤣. I'm growing the Large Barred Boar again this year as it was so good. Otherwise, i'm just doing Shirley, Sweet Millions and some tumbling tom.

I grew a few different tomatoes last year, the best for flavour and early fruiting (and name) was Bloody Butcher. Second was Riesentraube

I usually grow loads of varieties, this year I've got a lot less, but picked up seeds for what is supposed to be the most expensive tomato, variety RAF.

“I’m not growing many tomatoes” - proceeds to fan out packs of seeds as big as a deck of playing cards 🤣
I’m only growing three varieties outside.. divinity F1, Crimson Crush and Rose Crush. My “posh” tomatoes are probably all going to be in the polytunnel.
Some really interesting varieties there, as well as all the ☠️ plants that I’m assuming give rise to the plot’s name.

Lol, I had about 15 varieties of tomato last year, I have toned it down a little. 😁 I have always had an interest in serial killers, poisonous plants and zombie films, the name was a natural progression from that I guess. Good luck with your tomatoes this year.

i can not wait to see all your 180 chillies and more in fruit then i want to know if you had to pick ten , which ones they would be , but lets see at the end of the summer auwtumn when they get there to pick ,, because i would like to try your top ten next year ,

Sugar Rush will definitely be in there, great taste. Lemon Drop, for the citrus burst, a decent cayenne, they make great jam, then the rest of the picks are quite open. I really hope they get to full size and fulfill their potential.

Hi want tomato would yourecommend for raised beds with hoop tunnels over them wouldn't have a lot of growing height
