I hear sound from hood the moment door is opened and headlights are turned ON. It doesn’t happen during day. Do you also notice it? Or, is it VW or German thing? Note: Engine is not even started! Only auto headlights get turned ON. Noise is getting into head!
I'm in a rental 2024 Atlas and that temp control button is driving me crazy can't see it at night. Also defrost doesn't clear up the window well. But the high beam is amazing!!!
The touch buttons under the screen at night are not visible I mean the Blue, Red, and White lines used for up and down the volume and up and down heat and cold, they should be turning on at night but I can't see them while I'm driving??? VW Atlas2024 forgot the lighting for this part car This is unbelievable, who is the car lighting designer?
That’s because automakers are moving more and more to handsfree controls. You speak to your car now. Right wrong or indifferent, in a decade the tactical feel will be done away with.
I am not sure what button you are talking about. There is an automatic button that adjusts hi/lo beam so the driver doesn't have top but that has nothing to do with overall light output
@@chadhaire1711 there is a button right above the max front defrost near the light buttons. It says “front” and shows a picture of a cloud raining. That turns on the poor weather lights, I believe VW calls them. It’s to the left of the mode button for the lights.
@@AMTUP1991 You must mean the fog lights but with clear weather and outside temps of 114 degrees there was no reason to activate...they are for rain, fog, or snow
@@chadhaire1711 no, I do not mean fog lights. Unlike the pre refresh model, the new atlas doesn’t have lower fog lights. Per VW site: Poor Weather Lights (improves visibility in inclement weather). They are built into the new I.Q. lights and are turned on and off with the button as mentioned previously. Thanks for the response though.

If its the middle trim with the sunroof. The ambient lighting can be changed by clicking "vehicle" on tablet, then interior, then ambient.

There is a button to turn on the all weather function of these lights at night. How would you say it helps or adds to the light output?
