About your hats: first, steam them (one at a time, of course) and then set them down with weights on the brim to dry in the shape you want. This is what the hatmaker does when the hat is first made and it's easy to restore the original shape if you're careful. A steam iron can often help with this too, but be careful to use a pressing cloth in case of melting anything.
Secondly, find an old towel or face-cloth and cut a strip to stitch around the inside band of your hat/visor. That will prevent sweat running down your face and you can unpick it and wash it when it gets too gakky for your liking.
I love your choice of palm! It's native to Lord Howe Island, about 400 miles from the Australian mainland and is one of the world's most popular house plants. I've been to Lord Howe Is. and seen the Kentias in their natural state. They're truly lovely and their fruits are very popular with the big fruit bats we get here in Oz.

In books ferees and cartoons we all heared about this. It s huge so that means it cost of lot of money.....hope to see next a mill grinding the seed and you making some bread and kornflakes for my daily breakfast!

My brothers, father, and I had the privilege of pressing our own apple juice, and we made 8 gallons. The apples we pressed were romes, the best apple flavor in my opinion! After tasting it we all exclaimed “Gad cider!”😂

I used to get (mouth) ulcers & sore throat often no matter how hard I tried to have a healthy diet. Hi Lucy, Kentia Palm is the type of plant. I bought one for my flat about a year ago and I think I may add another as they're really easy to care for. If you google "Kentia palm RHS" there's a useful page there of care advice, things to look out for and how to keep it helathy, how tall they grow to etcetera.

This is Quality Vlog. Damn, That apple juice looks so colorful.
Actually it's a sign of oxygenation, if it's too brown. They had to work faster, to keep it as light as a fresh cut apple. And all the little pulp particles in the juice, they will fall out in a few days, then it's getting clear juice.

Autumn is my favourite time! I'd love to have a house in England to plant something (apple trees mostly hahah to make cider as I'm a big fan of it too). There can't be seen such lovely farms in my country. In Russia there are DACHAS but, to be honest, it's not romantic to live in there.

It's always only the dream of it, that is romantic, if you actually do it, you will discover the disadvantages also. A Dacha, is like a little cottage with a garden, at least in summer this is similiar. In winter you have a nice fireplace inside and the sauna hut next door. Everything can sound romantic ;-)
