The Lishi SS002 was designed for all US Yale locks which have the Yale keyway. It will NOT work properly on south American or British brand Yale cylinders. Here is why: Yale is NOT just a brand of a cylinder but also the first keyway design which dates back to the original pin-tumbler lock invented by Linus Yale in 1861. So the original Yale keyway you find in many locks around the world since it is not copyrighted nor protected by Yales patent. Therfor many lockmanufacturer in different countries still use the Yale keyway/profile in their cylinders BUT with slight differences in width, distances of pinchamber and pin heights. Considering those points the Lishi SS002 will NOT work on ALL Yale type locks.
It's not actually a LIshi pick, just in that style. And it was made for Chinese locks. The video was made because people were making videos saying it was a working on UK Yale locks. I can understand that it would work on that profile in the states. Anyway, newer, better version available now that does work on UK Yale locks, so I'll get that video made shortly.
@@albrechtjungmann8928 Well it doesn't really have a name it's an OEM product, so you speak to the manufacturers and they'll have your brand put on it - but as I said it's not LISHI. We've sourced ours from UKBumpKeys who said they will have them for sale in a few weeks. There's now about 6 different types of so-called 'Lishi-style Yale picks' on the market, but the ones I tested were very impressive, opening 15 out of 18 locks I tried, including those with security pins, actual paracentric keyways (which was always the issue with this style of pick) and even some three star Yale locks. And as you said, there's lots of no-name, generic and OEM locks that use the Yale profile, so they're decent picks for professionals.

I don't recommend it, i faced the same problems

Why am I using the wrong tool? This was a review of this tool, which would suggest I'm using the right tool. I have a newer, improved version on the way, but they were not available when this video was made.
@@LockPickingLegend what dictates the new version? Pro version?
