@@Envytip I'm sorry to hear that :( It may be worth deactivating some plugins or themes to see if there's a conflict. You can do this without effecting the public face of your site using this plugin: wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/ This article shows how to use it for trouble shooting and deactivate plugins and themes non publicly: fooplugins.com/documentation/general/general-troubleshooting/health-check-debug/ Otherwise, you may need to contact ConvertKit as that shouldn't be happening is a bit beyond the advice ai can offer here :( I hope that helps and gets your issues sorted though.
Hi Wade, absolute beginner here! I have set up a wordpress website using a purchased theme which I used to set up forms on my site. I have now signed up to convert kit, and I wanted to know whether I would need to set up new forms using convert kit or whether I can continue using my existing ones, or whether the two can be merged. I don't want to lose my current forms template? Would be grateful for a response. Thanks!
It depends, you maybe able to integrate convert kit with your old form software, if so I'd do that - otherwise you may need to redo your email subscription forms
I have setup my api keys. Do not have a form, just one landing page in convert kit. I set up post and chose the correct landing page from dropdown menu and end up with 404 error. Help please!
Sorry Craig I'm not sure what's happening there. SOme ideas you coudl try: Maybe double check or re add your api keys in options and save to resync. Try recreating the form and making sure it is public. Also, consider adding the wp site health plugin so you can use troubleshooter mode, disable all plugins (this won't be public) and only activate convertkit - retest. If it works while you have the other plugins switched off, activate ands retest one by one as it may be a conflict. You can also switch themes whilst using troubleshooting to see if the theme is conflicting. Otherwise, I'd hit up ConvetKit Supportm because it sounds like a weird technical issue
This video was quick and straight to the point. It was also very helpful! Thank you!!
Thank you! I'm glad you found it helpful :)
Hey when I copy my secret key and regular api key and press enter/save it doesn’t log in. It’s like I never typed them in.
Any advice would be helpful. Tried logging out of convertkit and logging back in, deleting the plug in and still no luck.
