under-rated harmonic melodic literate power pop guitar goodness.
Superchunk are national treasure
My dad used to play this song for me and my siblings back in the early 2000’s and we’d die laughing at the shaking your ass part every time
A good Dad - keep him close.
I used to play it for my kiddo!
This is the most 90's music video in the world
Saw them last night. They killed it. Didn't play this song though :(
I just got "Crowding Up Your Visual Field" on DVD from Superchunk and Merge Records... its soooo dam awesome! i didn't even know that they had a video for this song until today, then i came to youtube to tell everyone that this is AWESOME!!
thanks andy! it was super fun to make
One of the most important bands ever, since the first show I mixed of theirs back in 1991 at the infamous Sudsy Malones I’ve loved this band, the songs don’t get old. A perfect band.
Amen.
this is the art that this guy has made.
worth no more, no less than a kiss.
I want Superchunk to do a song dedicated to me now! It would be be about how awesome I am; a self taught craft jewelry maker!
The video for this song, and this song, is great!
For my bro D!
"Oh, it's still too slow?"
Love the Hyper Enough reference
No no I got it...
I just love yayoi's art and i thing that the song has nothing to do with her aesthetic
I believe there are some elements in the lyrics, like the mention to "infinity" or "cover me with spots - black and red dots".
Make no mistake... Mac and Laura are huge art fanatics. I ran into Mac in a Jenny Holzer exhibit at the Bilbao Guggenheim last week.
Anyone know if the video version differs slightly from the album version? Album version seems a little harder.
I think it's the same.
Ugh !
