Hey! I've got a question. Is SUP included in the workout, because I can't find information about it anywhere, and I really care about it.
Can you lock the screen from touch? I know you cant do that on Xiaomi Bands since they don't have a button. But most smartwatches with physical buttons let you lock the screen, preventing unlocking it with touching, and then you can unlock the touch screen with a button on the watch. Can you do that here?
Can it connect with Airpods pro and can play spotify?

Hello. The watch switches to Chinese because the language on your smartphone is not English right? The smartphone should always be in English and the watch will be in English too.

Once upon a time, at some really good point in my life, where happiness was at its peak, wife and I had this group of friends from all over the world. We all had a lot of fun joking at Donny's American accent xD, Flo's thick British accent, Martin and Marianne's Dutch accent, Sanne's sweet Danish accent, Paulo's weird Brazilian accent where they don't pronounce N and M, Hoon's Manglish accent (Malaysian English) where there's no tense conjugation, along with others, including a "sexy" Canadian French accent. But of course, ZEE best vere zee German tourists. Oh it was the best part of my life that will never come back.

Yes, it has its own independent gps tracking. All the activity data will sync to Health / Strava.

Did you connect your watch to your smartphone via an app? You also need to go to the Bluetooth menu on your phone, and there you need to connect to the Redmi Watch 4. Make sure that you have given permissions to receive/make calls and notifications for the Mi Fitness app. If nothing helps, try reset the watch to factory settings and reconnect it to your smartphone.

The watch has NFC, but you cannot use it for contacless payments. NFC is only used for transport cards.

Are you sure that it doesnt have hyperOS? Because I just saw another video and it booted up the deivice with hyperOS logo on screen
Wow, you are right. I just checked and there is a logo of Powered By HyperOS from Xiaomi when the watch boots up. I am a little confused, because the system, functions, settings, animations, and icons of the Redmi Watch 4 are completely the same as on the Xiaomi Smart Band 8, and Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro, which do not have HyperOS. In addition, there is no mention of HyperOS in the Redmi Watch 4 on the Mi.com official website. It's really weird.
@@TechBrothersReviews yeah I was also confused. I guess they did this because the core Mi band user doesnt feel things are different. Like the v1 of harmonyOS as it was almost same to the last EMUI. Anyway I was going to buy redmi watch 4 but was confused because of this as my device got upgraded to HyperOS so wanted to be in the eco system. Thanks for the confirmation. As for the icons being the same, honestly they kept the UI… having hyperOS on a smartwatch may not make that big a difference…🫤

I have one of these watch, as I already had others cheaper and one more expensive in the genre, I even have preference in analogs like my Speedmaster. He came in the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5g offer package, and has the worst bracelet among them all, nothing practical, which makes me set aside in the choices

Come on, this Redmi Watch 4 have: Calling through the watch, 20 days battery life; independent GPS built-in, and look at the price comparing to Apple Watch everyday charging, easy fragrances. Sometime you just need to press to the watch and answeing a short sentence.

If you have a Chinese version of the watch, there is probably no way.

I haven't checked it myself, but I've heard that emoji in notifications are only supported when an Android phone is connected. If you connect an iPhone, there will be no emoji.

You can call from the watch. You have to add contacts or to dial the numbers and it will make a bluetooth call on the phone.

Yes, it's a good upgrade from the Redmi Watch 3.
The display is big and gorgeous, but it's very limited on what it can do as a 'smart' watch. Yes you can make and answer calls with it but that's about it. It's a fancy GPS fitness tracker with the ability to make and answer bluetooth phone calls

You can't reply to messages, at least not after pairing with an iPhone.

I don't think the watch screen has an anti-fingerprint coating. But most likely you can additionally buy and stick a protective glass on the display.

If you need a voice assistant, you're probably better off buying the global version. Otherwise, the functions of the Chinese and global versions are almost the same.

Redmi watch 4 global. My calendar won't sync because of the MI fitness app don't have "Events" option. Lot of bad reviews of the app, so be aware before you buy the watch! So it's a dumb watch.☹

I think Xiaomi Watch S3 is a real smartwatch, because it has HyperOS, eSIM and WiFi support. But I haven’t tested that watch yet.

I have the chinese version, and no you can't 😢 you can answer calls and make calls, but you there is no quick reply function to messages. I hope they make a future update to add that feature

Problem of this watch is it does not give any information about the storage. You cannot view WhatsApp Images. You cannot reply even short messages. For appearance and simple watch and notifications it is good...
