This one had it all. Risk of electrocution, due to a maze of power lines, chippers eating winch lines, Jake's saw launching an attack and jumping off the top of the tree, Brian starting to feel the pressure of RUclips stardom, so he hits himself in the head, thus confusing Jake, Jake about getting decapitated, due to a wedge tossed up at mach speeds, Kevin finally starting the 395 and immediately looks for some dirt to auger, interview with the customer and a man double dipping another man's dip. This was great! Thanks Jake and the crew!
Woo hoo!!! 😂 we did it!
Kevin does have some tasty looking meat ngl.
😂
Not to mention the award for “Best Wedge-Boy at Eastside”!
good
Hats off to your crane operator, dang that job looked stressful.
I used to do powerline clearance in UK, it had to be 5 years growth away from lines. Respect to you guys.
I remember the first time we lost a winch line thru the chipper. NOT a fun day. Props to you guys for showing that part and what tree work is really like. Accidents happen.
I don't want to sound disrespectful but I saw a few safety issues in this video, with regards to feeding the chipper anyways.
you need to decorate brian's crane cab with lots of nice relaxing things for him to look at when he gets stressed out. get him the softest comfort blanket money can buy.
😂 he likes sticks and balls, maybe we should put a bunch in there for him To play with
We should get a bunch of stickers for him.
...knitted from goats wool?
That last flat part of the tree stump that was cut would make a really nice table.
Just watching the news. Scary stuff, Hope you guys are ok!
When I see 👀 😏 you work, it's how I have always thought of American workers, smart and hard joyful and respected of their peers. You make me feel good 👍 ✨ 😌 😊.
Man do I love watching how easily your saws eat up the wood. I'm just a firewood collector but wish my saw chewed it up that quick!
another great vid, you guys knocked that one out of the park, homerun with the customer, all the best
Great Job!! you west coast folks are all right
Hope everyone is OK. Word in the street is they tipped that crane over today :(
Brian in the cab like: Quit telling me what to do all the time!!! 😅😂😂😂
I saw the crane mishap on the news this morning, hope everyone is well at Eastside Tree Works!
I hope there is some footage, it would help others and be a useful learning experience for many of us.
@@spelunkerd if RUclips allows it I would love to see it. I’m sure they feel really bad for their mistake as we all would, it’s a great learning experience for everyone so it doesn’t happen to someone else. Just glad everyone is alright!
What happened??
@@em4703 Search crane accident East Side Tree works, news this week, for some alarming photos and drone video. Thank goodness everybody seems to be ok in the initial reports. They posted a short video on the channel.
I came to the channel to see if they'd talked about it. Interesting the title of this video is very pertinent to what the initial reason for that accident that was given. Miscalculation if a water logged tree.
Very complex job, but you guys know precisely what you're doing. I'd have confidence as the customer.
Wonderful video! Kinda tense with the electric wires so close!❤
Of all the things that could have gone wrong with this job, I’m so glad it was just a rope and a carabiner. I don’t even know how anyone would even tempt to learn the things you guys do. It’s just incredible.
My eyes were glued to this vid, from the beginning to the end. Oh darn, it's over!
Great crew !!!! Will is smart and Handsome !!!! Really like your content 🙂💯
Haha I texted this to him, he is pleased 😂
You guys are amazing. Funny an intense all rolled into one.
Love it all. Keep em coming.
Never a boring moment. Be safe guys.
She's right, Ya'll have it nailed!
Great to see a video showing mistakes like the winch rope going through the chipper, very eye opening as I know I have put the winch rope off to the side a thousand times when chipping. Heard about the crane accident you guys had and I hope everyone is okay and can continue to entertain and educate us viewers
Love these videos! Looks like ya'll enjoy your work. Nice to see people working hard and taking pride in their work.
Thank you for all your knowledge it's really helped in tree work especially working in apartments taking down trees
We have some pretty cool electric companies down here in SC , last year I had to drop some dead loblolly pines near power lines . I called power company and they came out and put all the lines on the ground, dropped the trees , 3 hrs later the just put the lines back up.
I hope Scott Is ok
You guys sure have a lot of fun doing all this and great work ! I salute you all
I love the content of this channel, and especially this business. I learned many things from you and your team.💪💪💪💪💪
Holy shit, these videos have gotten seriously professional. It looks like a friggin company training video, but so much more fun to watch haha
Where did he get that smiley face shield?
I'm the Foreman of my crew I would never let a groundsman or myself shovel anything into the chipper off of the pavement we always dump in the back of the truck just because of rocks that's just us great job though
Yup same. Would never ever let anyone shovel anything into my chipper.
Is this the same truck
I saw on Q13 news tonight, that flipped and crashed through the garage. Glad to hear y'all are safe
Yup
Whoa seriously?
Hi I watch your video everyday tell the team I said hi and I watch there video everyday I love you guys I love the video it is Hanley Glowka
first time here.... sorry to learn of your channel under these circumstances. hope everyone pulls though and all is well. - much love from a bunch of shipyard riggers.
Great video
Dam good video boys best one yet i think with having multiple mics on crew members and even having the homeowner on camera
Nice work Brian. That’s shit was tight.
Awesome Lady wonderful customer is an awesome title with wonderful graphics
Always love watching your videos and you guys working. It is such a dangerous job, however, y'all make it seem so safe. Good job to all. I've commented before and I will again, I think Brian is very essential to your crew. He is amazing with his skills and that crane and as I've stated before, he needs to have a reclining seat or something so he doesn't have to strain his neck looking up. Makes sense to me. Thanks
loving it
Great job guys I love us all
Great job and video like always
Hope you guys pray dealing with power lines and trees in bad places . God bless. You all.
Cheers, from brantford ontario
LOVE fridays for the new videos
I would love to see more about the crane info with brian you guys are killing it!!
Dam he’s the superintendent, wow that’s a hell of a boss I’m honestly shocked you’re not in an office as a super ,mind blown 🤯 hats off to you sir
Are you going to tell us what happened with the crane flipping over after the investigation etc. we were all really like to know?
Coming from a mechanic that works on chippers, that last bit of debris on the ground, don't rake it and throw it in the chipper, it's full of rocks!
Scott gets a raise, and a % of the company
I love y'alls humor. I'd buy the crew a beer just to chat with you next time I'm in Seattle!
You forgot to tell your true good job like you normally do that's a good inspiration to your true love your videos thank you
Superbe vidéo, très beau travail. Bonnes fêtes et bonne continuation
.
Hope ta c ye back ...
Love year banter.
Ha, Jake had to look at Scott’s wedding tackle when he was editing this! Good job Scott!
Cheers.
Great video! The new guy hates you now....fyi. :P Interview with the homeowner was awesome!! Great job gang!
So much bromance in these videos. Sharing snacks and everything. It's like a Hallmark movie.
Yes, I was even thinking of a maid of honor dressing the bride when suiting/gearing up.
Like the new intro :)
@5:20 find someone who looks at you like Jake looks at Will explaining power lines. that's true love.
When Brian said "a lot of weight" I got nervous lol.
Almost foreshadowing...
First time i see rope bag worn like a backpack. I usually go up with the waistline hanging bag.
You know Jake, another wood cutter up in Canada says that its not cool to jab your saw dogs into the tree to hold your saw. NOT COOL !!!!! LOL I personally think that its your saw, and none of his business. Keep the videos coming brothers. I really enjoy watching you guys working and cutting up with each other. Love love love the channel. PEACE ✌
So that's why those chips I got were so cheap and smelled funny
Great job Jake, way to keep it real with the winch line incident, might save someone one day, glad I opted out of the winch, we use mini loaders to feed our Ax19 Vermeer but the winch is nice on the big ones. Kevin should try the leg lock method to start that 395, he scares me with that drop start:). Keep up the great work!
Then don't look at my peaches lol another great video. I like how you include everyone's audio feed in the video.
My favorite act of the ballet? Sucking the winch cable through the chipper.
😂
I think I've figured out the secret sauce here: Kevin is Jake's work wife. 😁
Ropes in chippers can kill. Should be talked about more!
the big question is how does the crane operator resist the urge to spin real fast with the guy on the rope :D
He wants to lol. Sometimes he drags me through holly and prickly brush and says it on accident but I don’t believe him
Nice.😆 😆.💪
I'm starting to price out tree jobs. How many feet of winch line do you usually allow for per job?🤣🤣
Nice
Well first off I will take whatever length of video you give us.
I have been an arborist since the 1980s. But I still have no clue about electrical considerations! (Well... I quit using my metal pole saw...)
So I would like to see some good teaching on that subject. Even more than the quick review we did see.
Thanks.
You guys make this kind of a job look way too. Easy
I'm surprised you don't use the 500i more often
I was actually thinking that too when he asked for and used the 661/660/066 (don't remember which it actually was, not that there's much difference in purpose from one to the next). That 500i is so light with only a very small reduction in power. I find myself reaching for it more than anything now sometimes even when a smaller saw would be more practical, maybe just because I want to find any faults early enough to catch during the warranty period. In Jake's case though, his 66 is quite modified whereas the 500i might not be, so the difference in performance compared to the 500i might be bigger for him than it is for me.
Hey I’m sorry to hear what happened with the crane 🏗 I’m from Massachusetts and saw it on channel 7 news glad everyone is going to be ok
Dipping twice, that’s a no go man😂
23:14 glad no one was injured
How does Kevin like those climbright pads on his spikes? And is Kevin's saddle a new tribe?
All those pine cones I would have tossed them like dodge ball or something lol 😆
Someone going to have deduction on their pay cheque. Rope, carabiner and chipper blades.
Safety is top priority. With falling trees or electricity you don't get a second chance.
If you guys make TV commercials, That is the woman you want on them for customer reviews.
How long are you typically up in the tree waiting while the crew below is chipping up sections?
Amazing work to you all, I think jake would look good in a pink skirt doing ballet
Don't leave the winch line hanging over back of chipper never mind to late
Tis is why we dont use the cable winch here in holland on the chipper we use a mini skid or excavator or the avant
Need to get you some googly eyes for the wood chipper shoot 😂
Where do you guys get your hi-vis shirts with the black center portion? Can't find them like that anywhere...
@guiltyoftreeson was that your crane i seen flipped over on a house today on a Facebook post
can you use more of the 500i?
In the northeast the Douglas firs are loaded with needle scale . But doesn't seem to be a problem in you area???
Hope you guys are OK!!
หนวดสวยทุกคนเลย งานดีมากพี่ชาย
Grate Kommplimete from the Old Woman! From my to.!!
So working near power lines with a steel flip line is a big nono jake
I think that the 'Grizzly Adams' is getting a bit out of control, maybe you can get a beard trimmer attachment for that electric saw??😁😁😁
Those utility cables are not only ugly, but a good example of why they should be buried.
👍🏻👍🏻
Monkey beaver hands down the best climbing saddle I've ever used
