How to install a fifth wheel on a Dodge Ram 5500

Holland fifth wheel install on Dodge 5500.
My welder used his fork lift fifth wheel on to bed of truck. I used existing large holes to bolt it down.

Congratulations on the new Trailer, may want to consider getting a day cab semi, that's a lot of weight for your medium-duty everyday hauling. You also will not have to worry about over loading your drive axle.

Do I have to remove the bed and make it like yours ? Or will it work with with fifth wheel installed on the bed ? And any recommendations on to where to buy a used trailer ?

It’s all about the weight. My truck is a 5500 I can put 13,500 on my drive. I have been overweight on my drive by 560 pounds but I now backup cars. You don’t want to be overweight. I recently bought my Infinity trailer off of Marketplace.
