I got to go to Thailand and see these guys train in Muay Thai. They solely focused on breaking bones, it was impressive and scary as hell at the same time. I watched them kick trees untill their legs bled or the tree broke. They had fighting dummies made out of 2x4's and they would practice leg sweeps and elbow/knee strikes to break them in one blow. The whole point of their fighting style is to break and concuss...it is brutal to watch in person.
FYI...muay boran IS muay Thai boran.The word "boran" โบราณ... is mean ancient. But it 's shorten to muay boran when Thai people talk to other Thais. This muay Thai boran use in war only because it's aim to kill enemy when has no weapon, cruel and resolutely use all body parts as killing weapons.Original in Thailand . It's not too late. If you want to study Muay Thai go for it. It's simply a question of if you have the time and determination.
