Mate if it’s any consolation If you hadn’t of said you were blushing you would never know ... you are absolutely normal buddy Wish you nothing but happiness
You're not alone I have the same problem, it didn't start for me till later in life, early 20's. I just started a new job and if anyone approaches me I turn red and I can sense they notice it so it makes me more red. No one says anything but I feel like people socialize with me less because of it. I'm trying to learn to embrace it, I really need to join a group to practice combating it.
I can only sympathise with you Jennifer, I went over to turtle neck tops and it was a great psychological start. I then became more forward in meetings, a little like acting the part but inside as nervous as hell, and slowly moving forward.
How r things nowadays mate? I’m really struggling at the moment and don’t know what to do. Excessive blushing is seriously affecting my career and I completely dread work.
Matt sorry to hear that, sounds familiar. At the moment I'm trying to keep my head up and re-brand myself, so I've moved country. I started to wear turtle neck tops and that helped immensely because it took attention away from my neck so maybe try that. I'm trying to stop fighting this, learning to adapt to it, accept that it's a part of me. Maybe start with that, along with becoming a new you? For example I fidget less now, when I speak with people I try to be more composed. Change comes slowly.
