This very channel is something "happening" to him. He's trying to convince himself he's not delusional by all of the positive changes he's made recently in his life. However, he's still highly delusional concerning a lot of the subjects he talks about. There's definitely truth or half-truths in a lot of what he says simply because what is actually "the truth" is always up for debate. But until he gets a handle on what's going on, he'll probably just slip further and further.
