  • The mystery of the 10 Lost Tribes of Israel has captivated the imagination of societies around the world for centuries. Among the many communities who claim to descend from these Lost Tribes, the Bene Menashe, from a remote region of India, assert a profound connection to the tribe of Menashe, tracing their lineage back to ancient Israel.
Amidst a recent surge of unrest threatening centuries of peaceful existence, the Bene Menashe's story prompts critical reflections on Jewish identity and belonging.

I am an Indian Jew myself✡️. I belong to Bene Israel tribe. I love Israel 🇮🇱 but I will never leave my India 🇮🇳.
Few years ago when my family decided to move to Israel to live more Jewish life. Our Hindu neighbours came to our home and some of them started crying. They got very sad. Honestly Hindus are a very simple and emotional community.
My family finally changed the decision of moving to Israel.
We Jews never faced any discrimination or persecution in India because of only Hindus. They treat us like their own family members. India is a Hindu majority country that's why small minorities like us Jews & Zoroastrians never faced discrimination.
Being a Jew, if Israel🇮🇱 is in my heart then India🇮🇳 runs through my vein ♥️.

Yes and he brought you back to the land NOT because of your obedience or because you have done well, but because of HIS names sake Ezekiel 36. He has brought you back into the land unbelieving but he will one day breath life into your bones, replace your heart of stone with a heart of flesh Jeremiah 31:33. Then you will look upon him whom you have pierced and cry like one cries for their first born Zechariah 12:10. I will return to my place, till they acknowledge their offense; in their affliction they will seek me Hosea 5:15. They will then ask him, where did you get these wounds in your hands. And he will say in the house of my friends Zechariah 13:6.
In the new testament Jesus said before he was betrayed to be condemned to die in Matthew 23:37 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to you! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not! 38. See, your house is left to you desolate. 39. For I tell you, you will not see me again, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’ Baruch ha'ba b'shem Adonai!!

He was a Jew, of the tribe of Benjamin. He was not a Gentile, God didn't choose any Gentile to preach to the Gentiles, he chose a Jew. So know your role, and worry about your own personal salvation. Religious Jewish communities around the world is what brings up the question... Jewish converts are much more rare than people claim it to be...
      The thing is...
      Only ten tribes were lost.
The tribes of Judah and Benjamin were never lost, only scattered and some even remained in Israel.
The only found lost tribe was Dan, which are Ethiopian Jews. Some claim that Samaritans are from the tribe of Ephraim and Manasseh but this is arguable...

The social scientist Lev Grinberg commented that "right wing Jewish groups wanted such conversions of distant people to boost the population in areas disputed by the Palestinians."
This is politically motivated- these people were Christian- they’ve been Christian for generations. The movement began in 1951, when a tribal leader reported having a dream that his people's ancient homeland was Israel; some tribal members began embracing the idea that they were Jews. Before the movement's start, the community was largely a Christian one.
DNA testing doesn’t exclude the possibility they could be *extremely* distantly related but just look at the Wikipedia page! “researchers found no genetic evidence of Middle Eastern ancestry for the Mizo-Chin-Kuki men.”
All of this stinks of Israeli settler propaganda. (Coming from an American Jewish perspective)

Amazing the blatant misinformation that a simple search clears up.
    1. The “beni menashe” started out in the 1950’s as a Jewish messianic (christian) group and learned all they did about jewish practice from books in the 1960’s. Literally the group began because one man said in a dream God told him so. They have is no history before that point.
    2. The group was named the “beni menashe” by rabbi Eliyahu Avichai, the leader of a group that explicitly looks for these so called lost tribes.
    3. Dna testing has at best been in-conclusive at best and at worst shown there is no middle eastern substrate to the "beni menashe".

There were 2 kingdoms, but the 12 tribes are a literary motif. There are no lost tribes just lost individuals. Torah wasnt even finished being compiled until 4th century bce. Meaning, centuries after Assyria sacked Samaria. They might have been "lost", but it almoat certainly happened after the babylonian exile and absolutely wasnt from a specific "tribe". Theres zero evidence suggesting yizrealites were broken into 12 tribes, but substantial evidence they were from 50+ different peoplegroups. Not 12 sons of a man , a "mixed multitude" who created a unifying mythology, applying the likely GREEK 12 tribe motif when Alexander showed. Yea, that late.
Chronicles is interesting. It might better represent the divirsity among the "yizrealites", when it discusses davids soldiers, chr1. Like chapter 9 to12 i think.

Ah he did, but look what is happening now in that region, they can't enjoy peace and they will not accept Christ, when Christ died on the cross, the earth shook especially at the temple didn't the veil in the temple ripped... something of that sort? They never accepted his Son and since then can't have peace. A fact! Still some time to accept before probation closes! Besides the bible foretold of Jerusalem fate, no peace in that area, the truth.
