I've known about his story for years and thank you for sharing his story. I, also an Iranian and not Jewish, found out about him when I was working on my first movie advertising project. Just out of college I landed a job as a junior art director in Los Angeles working on the poster for the movie Schindler's List. I had to do a lot of research on the subject and that is how I found out about him. So it might be interesting for you to know that a non-Jewish Iranian had something to do with the movie Schindler's List. They should do a movie about him.
Do you live in Persia or are you safely ensconced in some rabbinical quarter of New York or New Jersey? It is no surprise the evil tribe want to kill all Iranians today with fools like you blinded by the facts of the real matter propagating rubbish and propaganda.
Iranian Jews are a founding member of the Iranian family. They've been there since day 1, almost 2600 years ago. Iran is their homeland and their country. We are one.
Thank you for this video, im not Iranian myself but Iran always gets portrayed badly in the media and in the west. It is such a beautiful country with great people.

Research the Purim festival and you be surprised to find out about Jewish genocide against Iranian during Xerxes rule. They celebrate the killing of Persians every year. The conspirators were Ester and her uncle Mordecai. Their tombs are in city of Hamedan. Iranian are so tolerant that they did not harm their resting place for over 2 millennia.
And yet nowadays there is nothing but animosity between Iran and Israel! They could be the best of friends and allies, have a mutually beneficial trade/economic relationship and yet the Iranian regime keeps up their hostility towards Israel and is actively working to try and destroy it! It's a shame really as both peoples are decent and want peace!

I suggest you check the history of Isl lam's hatred toward Jews across centuries(The very long list of pogroms is a good start)all the way through WW2 and until the wholesale expulsion of Jews from their home in Islamic countries in 48, with absolutely no relation to the so -called Palestinians invented in the 60's. I'm an Iranian and I am so proud of him. He embodies the compassion at one's cost, a quality that exists in our culture. When I was doing the M.A. in creative writing I based a screenplay on his life in Paris.
Thanks for producing and uploading this super video. It is vitally important to publicize the few Holocaust heroes who, unlike 99.9% of the world, did not turn their backs on the Jews - especially those who are unknown to the general public. As a child of 2 Holocaust survivors who miraculously survived the death camps, I spend hours each week reading about and researching the Holocaust, yet this is the first time I ever heard his name mentioned. The Talmud teaches that if one saves a single life it is as if he saved an entire universe. How much more so is this true if one saves many hundreds of lives at risk to his own. May his memory be blessed, and may it inspire others to act similarly.
Fariborz Mokhtari wrote a book called In the Shadow’s Lion about this righteous and very brave man. He did many amazing things for many Iranian Jews, among them, my great uncle’s family who lived in Paris at that time. The book is a great read.

Thank you so much for sharing Mr. Sardari’s story!! As an Iranian-American Christian who left Iran as a kid in the 1980s, it tears me up inside that so many people today are ignorant about all the good Iranians/Persians have done in this world. That fascist terrorist Islamist genoocidal regime stole our country in the 1979 coup and has held us hostage ever since - the primary victims of their genocidal Islamist terrorism for the past 4.5 decades have always been the Iranian people. Few peoples have ever acknowledged our suffering at the hands of this regime, but the Israelis have always been one of them. Iranians and Jews have a bond that goes back to the early beginnings of both of our peoples, and continues through the founding of Israel to modern day. From Cyrus the Great liberating the Israelites from Babylonian bondage, to the millennia-long Iranian/Persian Jewish population, to Mr. Sardari and many other unsung Iranian heroes saving European Jews from the Holocaust during World War II, to Iran being one of the first countries to officially acknowledge the new state of Israel, to our Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi visiting Jerusalem and praying at the Western Wall during this last Passover: the Iranian people will always share a strong, everlasting bond with the Jewish people. Our peoples share blood, share history, and God willing, will share a peaceful and prosperous future together. 💚🤍❤️🦁☀️
As an Iranian woman, I thank you so much for telling this wonderful story. I learned another reality about a heroic Iranian true gentleman that makes me proud of being Iranian. Have you thought of urging move directors or perhaps even yourself to consult with Mr. Sardari's family to make a movie based on this amazing true story? Thank you again.

1:17 Mostly a great video, but there was no such thing as "Iranian Bolshevik revolution", the chaos of Iran in those days was due to the Persian campaign of WW I (Russia and Britain fighting the Ottomans in Iran) and the subsequent collapse of the country for a few years after the war.
There absolutely was a pathetic attempted at an Iranian communist revolution, and while it was indirectly related to World War I (in that the Russian sphere of influence has historically been in the north), there was never any real chance of the Ottomans ever occupying Iran. Meanwhile, the Russians and the British, *did* invade and occupy Iran during both World Wars I and II (and robbed us blind, both times). Each occupation resulted in them starving millions of Iranians to death…5-6 million Iranians were killed in these Anglo-Russian famines. Iran was undergoing a LOT at the time. There in fact was a small pocket of idiot communists and separatists up north who tried their own version of a communist revolution - but those traitors were soon put down by Reza Shah, the man who would then become king and save our country from the nightmare that was Qajar rule. Contrary to your comment, the country never collapsed. The Qajar dynasty, however, had been collapsing for a long time by that point (worst dynasty in our 2500+ year long history of Shahs). The crappiness of the Qajars is what provided Reza Shah the opportunity to seize power and SAVE IRAN. روحت شاد رضاشاه 💚🤍❤️🦁☀️
We have no problem with Jews. As many Jews in the Middle East live peacefully in Iran. The problem is the occupation and oppression of the Palestinians.
Shut up, Jews were protected by many Muslim empires, which is why Mimonides the famous Rabbi lived in Muslim countries. It was better to be a Jew in a medieval Muslim state than it is to be in modern Israel. anti-Semitism is a European Christian, emphasis on European, phenomenon.
First of all, instead of the word "Shah", His highness or His Majesty is needed to be used. Because as the video also told he was the one who ordered to free late Sardari. I also wished that Jews, if not all at least those received inconceivable life-saving help, had assisted him in his old ages and above all had helped his unimaginably philanthropist nephew when he was imprisoned by misanthropist English-made Islamists.
Thank you for that uplifting story, and the tremendous research. I was very moved, but also very troubled: Why he died alone, scared and impoverished? Where was the Israeli government? Mossad captured Eichman in 1962 and thoroughly questioned him, so all this was known 15 years before the new regime in Iran - yet nothing was done?! And what about Yad Vashem, what did they do to honor his name? He was not American or European so he does not count? I am confused. Anyone knows answers please let me know.

So it might be interesting for you to know that a non-Jewish Iranian had something to do with the movie Schindler's List. They should do a movie about him.

Imagine saving Jews by arguing that they are not exactly Jews. That's a pretty badass move.
He kind of paid close attention and carefully constructed his argument in a manner that would use the Nazis own awful racist ideology against them - badass and super smart. Arguing that those Jews were ethnically Iranian/ Persian and “only” practicing a religion … an argument/ rationale perfectly matched against the Nazi disgustingly racist ideology. He used what was available to him, declaring people Iranian to save their life… an intelligent man with heart, compassion and bravery!
