    I agree. You and Emma work well together. The two stand outs were the crystal Chisa that Emma had. Beautiful. and that's coming from someone who isn't the biggest fan of crystal frames! And , of course the Domino in both piano black and matte midnight. I Love my pair. They really do epitomise the phrase "Quiet Luxury". Thanks Rob and keep up the good work.

    This is great selection of eyewear.
    I wish we could see the frames on both of your faces a little longer or at least saw a picture of someone wearing them.
    Thanks for sharing this brand with us.

      I'm going to bring her back on the channel later this year, I think. I get on well with Emma as she also has a passion for beautiful eyewear.

    Would've been helpful to have the names of the frames show on screen as you switched to them.

    Excellent presentation. The Domino matt blue in 55 please (with sun adaptive lenses with flash coating to match the frame). Don't currently have a chunky acetate in my eyewear collection.🤔 Thanks👍

      See I have to draw the line here Robert... you can't have it before me!
      In all seriousness it's on pre-order for the UK so I'll add you to the list and it can be something to anticipate for summer!
      Were you inspired by the thumbnail? Although we didn't showcase it here I thought a blue tinted sun lens would be the ideal partner for the Domino.

      @@thespectaclefactory Yes, definitely inspired. Definitely matching blue tint 👍The best quality acetate seems to be produced in Japan (in a more sustainable way too!) I've seen lots of other acetates and they are not as exciting as this colour combination. It seems to me Japan leads in design and innovation and Italy and France seem to follow IMO! Well done Barton Perreira😊

      @@robert15john I would say the most creativity comes out of France, but the best craftsmanship from Japan. Italy is a balance of the two.

    At a guess the other pair you have ordered is the capote in the black

    2:40 She says in a “55” what does that mean? 55 mm? Lenses width? Or total frame width? I personally can never find a pair from any of the major sunglass makers who make a frame wide enough to fit my head. Maybe one or 2 frames only. And even they BARELY fit me. The frame if it was a tiny bit wider it fit me perfect. But those 2 frames i found that fit me. Its like u can feel it puts pressure on the hinges a little bit. But i hate how some brands ONLY make one size and thats it and there to small. Like guys, you would make more money if you had wider sizes for us big dudes. The little petite dudes are the only ones who can wear any frames. But thats so to be honest not smart business.

    • @thespectaclefactory
      @thespectaclefactory  2 года назад

      Actually it doesn't make brands any more money to make different sizes, because of the increased design and production costs. But brands like BP do it because they are so passionate about getting the right fit for their customers (just like us).
      55 is the lens width in mm, not the total width. The Carbon/Wood frames from J F Rey and the Undostrial range by Lucas de Stael are the best frames I've seen for larger heads.
