There’s no video as detailed like this on RUclips so massive kudos to you! I’m in the process of upgrading the front and rear bumper of a Mini electric to the Cooper Sport/JCW. After months of searching, there’s no video or even a Mini electric that has upgraded to these bumpers so mine will be a first. Excited is an understatement. Thank you for investing the time into making this helpful video. Just subscribed :)
Thanks so much and thanks a million for watching!!! Good luck in your MINI search and modding! If you have any questions or even any pictures, I would love to see them!
Curios whether this came with instructions? While Aaron at OutMotoring is great about answering phone and text messages about installation, being a woman, I like having actual instructions. Haven't seen vids from you guys for awhile and wondered if the car ended up being too much squeeze for the juice!
It did not come with instructions. Hopefully this video will help folks, but if you want paper ones I don’t believe he has that. Yeah I was stuck in Ontario due to family and other issues all Sumer so I didn’t have access to my cars! 😢
Love the upgrade, but just curious on what happens with the fog lights and day time running lights? Would I also need to change the headlights for this to work?
Thank you!! I am coding out those although I have not done that yet. You would not have to replace the headlights although I will to complete the face lift look.
I have the first gen cooper SE, I’m also interested on this, mine also has fog lights that also work as side lights when you turn the car, I was looking at new resolute front bumper or jcw but they don’t have fog lights, new ones are inserted on headlights. I wonder if the car will show errors on the console for disconnecting those. The other option is to use the old jcw front bumper becouse I saw some cars with that bumper and with fog lights fitted there. What would you recommend? Thanks
Thanks! We were able to code them out, then we will be coding in the way they do fog lights in the lci2 cars which is basically turning on the turning lights when they are pointing ahead.

Thanks for watching! I added the new ones when I bought the kit, where the intake connects to the wheel well, its a little different, but if you drill the screw holes, its fine. If you have any questions, please let me know!

Can you fit the lc12 3 door bumpers onto the 5 doors without issues? Or do you need the 5 door versions? Looking at getting a SD 2015 5door as a project. Cheers
The front bumpers fit fine however you need to get the 5 door f55 rear bumpers. If you get a 5 door cooper (non s) and want to do the conversion I actually have an f55 rear jcw diffuser with the single exhaust output that I could sell for cheap. They are super hard to get.
Thanks for watching! It is for the most part, however there are some small things like fog lights that you have to code out or just place the bulbs somewhere.
