Spitting is disgusting, full stop. Spitting at someone is beyond the pale. If that's what Borja did, then he deserves to be penalised and his team mates (and the fans) will have to shoulder that burden. Let's hope the investigation exonerates him and that the players now exercise self-discipline and don't attract further retrospective FA investigation.
yes he does.....amazing talent ,,,, but needs to grow up....quickly ! ...for the last5 games all he has done is fall over holding his head....needs to just get on with the game....dissapointing to say the least
Sunderland fan here👋. I was really disappointed with Borja. I was expecting this player to come and put on a masterclass against us and give us absolute hell as I'd heard many other teams saying how good he was. Instead, he spent most of his time trying to get our players (and coach) yellow or red cards with his stupid antics. Had he concentrated on actually playing football against us, it might well have been a different outcome.
Also a sunderland fan and i feel the same. I don't watch much football outside of Sunderland and England so all i knew was what I'd heard on the grapevine. Was excited to see a strong attacking side come to the SoL and see if he could score goals for fun past the solid back line we've got. Instead i got a pantomime villain
It's not passion if you're deliberately trying to cripple the other player and go down every 5 mins acting like you've been shot. It's a pathetic side to the game and it needs stopping
So a high speed two footed high tackle that might break a leg and destroy a career carries a 3 match ban as would similar violent physical conduct like punches, elbows etc but spitting is a 6 match ban? Am I the only one to think that level of severity is mad? Spitting is unpleasant and should be punished but this seems draconian
Until we have a clear out of the squad - not much will change. I will just say I think Knapper’s signings are Gordon, Forson, Chrisene, Cordoba, Doyle & Crnac? JHT would be Slimane, Marcondes & Schwartau? I’d probably trust JHT with a bit more in the next couple windows, I also think the Danish league wouldn’t cost a bomb either - but looks like Knapper is looking at a Croatian winger? I don’t know - early doors but Crnac ain’t cutting it yet. JHT old club is a hot bed of young talent, hopefully he’ll be trusted to cherry pick some
If Borja spat at anyone that is disgusting behaviour and should be banned for a very long time. At Sunderland he was trying all game to get players and staff sent off, let himself and his team mates down.
So a search with ChatGPT suggests in this season across the championship only one other player outside of Norwich has been retrospectively charged or banned by the FA and that was a Preston player in September for biting another player. Angus and Kenny's charges are laughable in comparison
Pace. We are crying out for pace. Teams are happy to press us because there is no threat in behind them. A CDM that doesn’t give it away one in three passes would also help massively. I still have faith in the process and the coach
Q PR's strategy was to play for fouls a) to break up the play and b) to obtain as many dead ball opportunities as possible so if you watch the game again you will see Rangers exploit every opportunity to gain a free kick
FA just doesn’t want us (NorwichCityFc) back in the Premier League🤬 Conspiracy theories abound but where are all the other clubs with their issues? There isn’t any in last 2 weeks yet we get charged/fined/suspensions technically 4 times in 2 months🤬 Kenny twice, Angus and now Borja…. #Ncfc #Fasucks
The man is a TOOL, pretending to hit in the face twice pretending to be tripped by the Sunderland manager. The system isn't wrong it's your players!!!.
So are they going to ban every player from spitting? Why aren't they also looking back at some of our player's being pushed off the pitch from corners by defenders?
If he spat at someone, then he deserves to be banned. Disgusting behaviour from Sainz
'If' being the key word in this.
@@TalkNorwichCity That's why it is being investigated. The key word is actually 'spat'.
Disgusting behaviour IF..

Maybe they should sell the replica kits with a warning if you wear this you could get investigated by the F A
Sunderland fan here! I couldn't believe how dirty Norwich played against us at SOL. Not sure if that was the game plan but they are a dirty side.
Dirty? It's called passion. I like the dirtiness.

@@mwalton00 Cripple is a strong word. That's what you get with the interaction of foreign players in the English game. Everyone is well used to it.
Why can't Norwich players control themselves?

Are the FA running a vendetta with Norwich?

I think this is the key thing. I think it's really tough to make an absolute review on things until JHT has a few transfer windows under his belt.

Goes down quicker than Katie Price.
Josh Sargent be back for first home game of this year
How long before he's back in the treatment room? He's a lightweight.
Return of Christian Fassnacht to Young Boys Bern is already confirmed. One off the wage bill.

You would think Norwich are kicking teams off the park with players like Joey Barton and Vinny Jones. QPR were playing for free kicks.
This person is talking Bollocks !!!
@ why am I talking bollocks? Did you watch the game
@@NealeTurner I was there !!! We're you?
Yes which bit don't you agree with the part of Norwich foul count being nearly twice that of QPR and no QPR players being stretchered off

How hard is it to just behave and play football
It's pretty hard if the fa is breathing down our necks. I thought Doyle is gonna get banned for shoving Kolli, fa must think that's an elbow
@@benmanutd2 pretty hard if you are Norwich

Norwich's league position would suggest they won't be in the Premier League next season.
hopefully Norwich stay in the championship not ready for PL yet 🔰
I feel that we're going to get banned for looking at the ref the wrong way

As far as I'm aware it's for spitting at or on an opposition player.
There is clearly a lack of discipline in the team which must he addressed before we are unable to field a team!
I think it was during the Millwall game commentary that Chris Goreham pointed out that Norwich have accumulated a lot of bookings.
I don't want to finish top of the fair play league.
When will Josh Sargent be back ?? We need him so bad
It should be within the next few weeks.
Is there a clear discipline issue at Norwich with the players?
I should certainly be on the radar.
I'm glad JHT has told to go out and get stuck in. It's not a non-contact sport.
Has there actually been any footage of the Borja incident??
I'm yet to see anything.
You and Chris ask for passion then you complain when the players are giving it
Luton ...the fans they expect.
Sorry oscar done nothing at all all game get onel on from the start great passion hes older but more energy and runs more then oscar
Yeh QPR defender pulls hum down yet avoids any card whatsoever...jokers
